The ideal Retail candidate is guest-oriented and has a true passion for all
of the elements of customer service. The ideal candidate is also interested in
learning about the features and benefits of not only the products we sell, but
of the hotel itself – its activities, facilities and amenities. As a guardian
of our brands, Retail associates are also eager to go beyond the
expected.
Because of the degree of customer interaction, inventory control, and detail
work, Retail associates are in a unique position in that their role is
excellent preparation for advancement. Some common career paths that this
position can lead to include supervisory or management roles in Retail, Sales,
Executive Meeting Specialist, Front Desk, Concierge, Buyers, Purchasing,
Marketing, and Spa.
