Golden Ballroom

Our nine ballrooms provide the perfect backdrop for events ranging from lavish weddings and intimate receptions to corporate brainstorming sessions and international conferences.

At 855-square-metres, our largest meeting space, the magnificent Diamond Grand Ballroom, can host up to 2,000 guests in a reception-style setup. Alternate setup styles include theatre, classroom, reception, banquet, wedding, and more. Among the room’s many treasures is the “world’s largest crystal chandelier in traditional Maria-Theresa style,” which was manufactured exclusively by Dotzauer in October 2001. Lit by 500 candles and plated in 24-caret gold, this Swarovski Strass and full-lead crystal masterpiece took over 2,800 hours to complete.

Adjacent to the Diamond Grand Ballroom lies the Crystal Ballroom, where five luminescent chandlers light up 632-square-metres—perfect for private and corporate functions.

On the seventh floor, the Al Dana Ballroom offers a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. Created by the internationally acclaimed Italian designer Enea Nannini, this magnificent space exudes warmth and grandeur, and boasts three varieties of rare Italian marble, including the exquisite blue Azul Bahia marble, radiant yellow Giallo Sienna marble, and Macauba marble. The exclusively designed carpet, meanwhile, is from Brinton’s UK. Domes are painted a shining blue with gold stars and highlighted by intricately detailed lighting fixtures—making this indelible room an ideal choice for weddings or conferences.

Further up on the rooftop, the Golden Ballroom offers a spectacular view of bustling life in the capital. At 268-square-metres it can host anything from an unforgettable wedding reception to a conference, seminar, or banquet,

Back on the ground floor, the marbled Coral Ballroom is the ideal location for exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and more. Notably, this room can be specially tailored via a multiple-use extension.

Located on the same level, the Emerald Ballroom is optimal for conferences both large and small. Like the Coral Ballroom, it can be modified according to hosts’ needs. For small meetings it can be portioned into three separate spaces.

Finally, on the mezzanine, the Al Soor Ballroom offers the perfect intimate environment for business events such as seminars and small conferences.
