Nestled in the heart of Bengaluru, ITC Gardenia is privy to both facets of Bangalore life—where the ‘Garden City of India’ meets the country's 'Fastest Growing Metropolis’. Designed to cater to both the indulgent and the aspirational, the hotel is a superb confluence of the city's unhurried past and its dynamic present.

The hotel embraces a “Responsible Luxury” philosophy that applies to its design, materials, as well as innovative environmental systems and initiatives. The culmination of all of these efforts have earned ITC Gardenia the honor of being the world’s first Platinum LEED rated large hotel.

Renowned architect Rajinder Kumar has designed the 292-room hotel with a natural focus. The exteriors are made of Gwalior sandstone and Malaysian red bricks, interspersed with panels of smoked oak and highlighted by matte strips of copper. The same environmentally responsible material is used for the roof, while the flooring throughout the hotel is blond Italian marble.

Designed by Francesca Basu, the interiors also celebrate the beauty of nature is all its manifestations. The floors ascend by theme—starting with earth, stone, and wood on the lower flowers and ascending to birds, butterflies, and the clouds on the top floors. Design elements such as accent colors, artwork, and fabrics unite each theme into a cohesive, calming whole.

The majestic Peacock Suite at the top of the hotel has been home to dignitaries and celebrities from around the hotel. Former Indian President A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Former Secretary-General United Nations Kofi Annan, and Olympic champion Usain Bolt are just a few that have enjoyed the suite’s exceptional setting and the hotel's gracious hospitality.

The ITC Gardenia proudly joined the Luxury Collection of Hotels in 2009.
