Rated 5 out of 5 by Very short stat Hotel Kamp Excellent hotel, amongst the very best in Europe. My only criticism is that when arriving at midnight, they did not have a better room service menu. And, my quiche was unevenly thawed from a frozen state. July 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel was exemplary I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were exemplary! July 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 location fine but.. High expectations ended up to disappointment. The room was not in shape (loose bathroom brick and almost loose table stand). Breakfast buffet was almost empty when we arrived.11 EUR for a can of Lapin Kulta is a ripoff. Location is perfect though and the public space in the hotel is nice. July 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Luxury Collection is a great feature! Wow! What a wonderful hotel with a great staff to need every need. The best location in the city, too. July 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Improvement Hotel is fine, but is missing the extra starwood touch. I stayed here with my wife at the end of our Croatian honeymoon in mid June. All hotels that we had stayed in within Croatia (starwood and otherwise) seemed to go out of their way to go above and beyond to make our stay extra special- however Hotel Kamp seemed to be almost preventing us from enjoying ourselves. I expect more from a Luxury Collection property. From the time we entered (and reception staff started to check me in as I was carrying three bags-without providing us help) to the time we left we felt somewhat uncomfortable in the hotel. Bathroom had some broken tiles, view was poor, however the location was great. We spent most of our time outside of the hotel. I have heard good things about the bar and restaurant, however we did not choose to partake. Of note, I did express my concerns to management and we were given one free night. I would have preferred to spend the money for the night and had an enjoyable experience though! I was informed I would hear from head manager for follow up and never did.... June 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Mixed Always great decor. Room could be cleaner. Showers always leak onto bathroom floors. Climate control does not work properly. Wifi in a hotel of this class should be totally free. This costs approx. 20 Euros for a reasonably fast connection! Nonsense! Staff rather indifferent. Not bad. Just indifferent. So one night for a cheap room at 250 Euros with a couple of drinks from the bar, internet, etc. came to an extra 100 euros. Stayed here many times and sorry that it seems to have gone down hill a bit. June 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything you would want This beautiful hotel has service to match! We checked in late on a Friday night & were assisted by Anders at the front desk. He was very patient & helpful. The bellman, Tony, who brought our luggage up was also an excellent employee. Our room was lovely, the turn down housekeeper was very sweet & our general stay was great. We ate in the Cafe a few times & the hostess was very good. She remembered our room # the second day & offerred helpful suggestions for our meals. We encountered helpful, professional employees at every turn...from the Spa to the drivers the Concierge arranged to take us to the boat to Tallinn & the airport. This is just what you would want & expect in a great hotel! June 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by My favourite hotel in Finland I would not stay anywhere else in the Helsinki area, the staff are efficient, helpful and just generally make a great effort you feel very welcome. The rooms are nice, faculties just what I need and the location can't be beat, great for business and pleasure - my one compliant is the breakfast, why is it even a hotel like this which is certainly top class can't provide decent bacon and egg's though as I am English maybe I am biased..
