The hotel is wonderful of course. I didn´t realize that breakfast was not included. 29e pp for breakfast seemed a bit steep to me, even if it was a nice breakfast.

As Plat100, upgraded to their Jr. Suite with an L-shaped design so it did look like a small 1 bedroom. Room and bed was veeerrryyyy comfie and i slept like a baby.
Got a welcome note from GM and a bottle of wine so that was cute of them. As of April 3 2015, they still had the green plastic duck in the tub.
It was crazy snowing when i arrived March 30, so didnt get a chance to see the city proper. Just stayed in the hotel. Food was yummy but boy is cafe kamp expensive!
Didnt get a chance to try their brekky as it was sooo hard to get out of bed...so yah, always slept in.

This smart, fashionable hotel is situated in the middle of Helsinki. It is well-placed for anyone seeking luxury goods, many such shops surround the property.
Tip: On Friday and Saturday evenings the bar of the hotel is particularly lively with locals.
I miss the little green ducks that seem to have swum away from the hotel bathrooms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JNA1 A splendid, well-kept grand hotel
During the long Finnish winter, there is something reassuring about the curtain of warm air that greets guests upon stepping inside the Kamp's double doors.
Attentive, professional staff are never far away.
The interior - comfortable and cosy with the use of good quality traditional furnishings and cheery yellow-toned paints. A welcome sight compared to the trendy schemes used within so many 'refurbished' hotels these days.
Food quality is excellent.
Tip: Try the local draft beer Lapin Kulta draft beer in the bar and when enjoying the refreshment, look up at the beautiful wooden detailing and illumination around the top of the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nate819 Excellent Hotel in a Great Location
The hotel staff at Hotel Kamp in Helsinki went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The hotel is in a great location on the Helsinki esplanade, walkable to many attractions in downtown Helsinki. As a preferred member, I received a room upgrade and all the other standard treatments as a gold guest. In addition, the staff brought a small bottle of wine to enjoy in my room. The bathrooms are amazing; the separate tub and shower is always appreciated, and the small touch of a green rubber duck as a bath amenity is very nice.
Breakfast in the restaurant is pricey, but if you have an appetite or it's included in the rate it is well worth it! There were three types of salmon, flavored juices like black currant tarragon and many pastries.
The Kamp spa includes a sauna room with 3 separate saunas; it is mixed so a bathing suit or towel is necessary--however it wasn't very full as to make it uncomfortable to visit.
I loved my stay here and would happily return
