Thank you for making my stay for enjoyable. The Staff were super friendly from check in to check out. The banuet team did an amazing job with breakfasts each morning.

very disappointed in the staff's inability to bill me correctly. Is it that difficult to apply American Express Fine Resort Program credits?

The property is fantastic, incredible historic gem. The staff was helpful, the restaurant and lounge were fun, the bed was comfy, the room was spacious.
Room for improvement includes no statue or flowers in the elevator lobby on the top floor (other floors have a statue on a wood table). Also to use the gym you have to waltz through the meeting/convention area, and there is no restroom adjacent to the gym.

Throughout our trip I was told that the US Grant is the best hotel in town. I would like to see some of the others. The area has a large population of homeless not aggressive. Walking distance to gaslamp area is a plus. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly. Our room was a a nice size, beautiful tall ceilings, old world charm, but could really use a thorough cleaning. The head board is fabric(artwork) and light colored so stains really show. I didn't turn on the vanity mirror because of the sludge around the switch. Loved the history and ambiance would love to see it spruced up.

Great hotel overall...beautiful facilities, very attentive staff. Housekeeping was horrible. I selected the green option - new towels every other day. On the fourth day I had to beg for new towels. Had to request service twice that day before they arrived. Recycles stayed in room for six days until my departure. Bathroom was not clean upon my arrival (toothpaste down outside of sink bowl). Other members of mygroup on the same floor had similar experience. Others on different floors had much better service. No coffeepot in room - had to request.

Staff could not be more attentive from the minute the taxi pulled up to the entrance until the minute we left. They always responded immediately and with pleasure. Comfortable bed, pillows and towels. Walking distance to pier, gas lamp district and hop on hop off bus.

I stayed at the US Grant for a night out with friends the hotel could use some improvement. In checking in the staff was friendly but once I got to my room my trip was starting off bad. The room smelt like smoke or stale along with there being spots on the carpet. I then met friends in the Grant Grill which I had heard good things about and one of my friends owns several restaurants in the Southern California and has been featured on the Food Network. We were both disappointed with the food as it seems that it was just reheated and not fresh along with the Pork Belly dish that was tiny and all fat. At this point we closed our tab and ventured elsewhere for food.
