Beautiful hotel and grounds, very friendly staff. Truly a little island of luxury.
Only two detractions, 1 the lack of a gym. 2 the internet didn't work for 2 days of my stay, which made business very challenging.

Rated 4 out of 5 This hotel has great service
I stayed at the Sheraton Addis last week on business, the first night was a disaster with the air con on a high temperature making the room very hot for most of the night. The engineer never arrived to fix this so I struggled all night. The other problem was that the lights in the room and the TV switched themselves on randomly during the night, it seems the master control was out of order. The hotel were only too happy to change my room the next day and I was much happier. The hotel is still of a good standard but I think for the price they are charging they should really consider upgrading the facilities.

This is a great hotel. Super friendly staff, beautiful rooms, excellent food, stunning grounds. But I have one plea to the owners/managers -- put in a gym!
Thanks for another great stay in Addis

Sheraton Addis is an exceptional hotel and the service by the staff is amazing. However, there is an urgent need for a gym, which is a must have for any serious business hotel.

This is the worst dining experience I've had in any Starwood property (and maybe in any hotel ever). The waiters in restaurants act like you don't exist and have no interest in serving you once you do manage to get their attention. The room service is regularly out of menu items. They told me I should only order things they have in the kitchen - forget the menu. I'm trying to make the switch from a competitor's platinum level to SPG mainly for the Crossover with Delta. However, this experience will make me rethink that switch. If this is the service at the Luxury Collection, what can I expect at other locations.
