I was last time in Sheraton Addis 3 years ago. I will have to travel now again to Addis every 4 - 8 weeks. Since the last 3 years not a lot of money have been invested back in the hotel. The level of appearance and quality is going donw. ..unfortyunately. Alfons Braun

I am truly impressed with your lodging quarters at the Sheraton Addis. Although your telephone and internet connections is in desparate need of commerical upgrade, I sincerely appreciated the hospitality I received from your staff. The on-site banking facility is also extremely convenient. Job well done; thank you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DHCH avoid rooms over the nightclub
not a great stay this time.
- waited 15 minutes to check out, then shuttle was 7 minutes late
- room over the nightclub meant no early nights
- no explanation why I have no points from my previous stays
- spa has good therapists but treatment rooms are noisy

This is the worst dining experience I've had in any Starwood property (and maybe in any hotel ever). The waiters in restaurants act like you don't exist and have no interest in serving you once you do manage to get their attention. The room service is regularly out of menu items. They told me I should only order things they have in the kitchen - forget the menu. I'm trying to make the switch from a competitor's platinum level to SPG mainly for the Crossover with Delta. However, this experience will make me rethink that switch. If this is the service at the Luxury Collection, what can I expect at other locations.

It is now 2013. A luxury hotel without internet is rather ridiculous. Why do I not have to pay extra for the bed? Or the shower? Maybe I should pay extra for walking on the floor of the room as well.
Sheraton should try to follow the times. It is already absurdly expensive, add one dollar to every room and have free internet access in the rooms, in the lobby, by the pool. Even mcdonalds and coffee houses around the world have free internet.

The hotel staff is what makes this hotel a five star experience. From keeping my room in tip top shape to putting two additional notches in my belt to keep my trousers up, the staff made it all happen.
I'd certainly come back and recommend this botanical property to friends and colleagues.
