Rated 3 out of 5 by Meh I really wanted to like this hotel. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. First and foremost, it's quite pretentious. Given that's in proximity with Beverly Hills, the staff comes off with a more snobbish attitude instead of prioritizing customer service. That being said, the bed is excellent (even though the room is quite dark). The restaurant/bars in the hotel is excellent as well. Nevertheless, would not recommend this hotel for business. Rated 5 out of 5 by ANOTHER amazing stay! I return here every time I'm in LA and I savor every minute AND nothing has changed over the years I have stayed here - in a very good way. The decor remains engaging and the staff is THE face of customer service from the front desk to the maid service to breakfast to in-room dining. The breakfast buffet is sinfully delicious from the fresh croissants to the cheese selection to the homemade granola (enough to make you go back to the great gym to work it all off). One individual has made my last few stays wonderful (especially memorable when my daughter joined me in November): Jay, General Manager of Bazaar. He makes you feel like the celebrity we all dream to be. I had hoped to run into him to thank him (again) and there he was at the late night check-in. He and his "partner in crime" David at the front desk upgraded me to the best suite in the house (absolutely worth it even for the 17 hours I spent at the hotel). I have not encountered such over-extension of hospitality at any of numerous international hotels and I look forward to my return in a few months. April 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by David and Tanner David checked in our family when we arrived. He was so kind and accommodating. Right away, David smiled at us all, was extremely thrilled to have us there and spent extra time taking care of everything we could need. It was our family's first time staying at the SLS and we will absolutely be coming back because we were treated with respect. It is clear that David is a professional, respectable and truly genuine human being and we appreciate that the SLS knows to hire people like him. The other member of the team who made sure we were 100% cared for was Tanner. He went above and beyond with our family, as well as the families that we saw him check in. Everyone seemed to smile when Tanner spoke with them, because everything everyone asked was politely taken care of. Tanner has an energy about him that made us feel like no matter what, he'd ensure that our stay was exactly what we hoped for. Whether it was room service, getting a pull out bed to our room, guiding us to the best restaurants or sharing the best activities, we felt confident that Tanner had us covered. Not only that, but Tanner continuously made us feel as though we were apart of his family. This particular SLS employee has something special that others don't have, he has an ability to make you feel as though you want to come back just to talk with him again. Special thanks to David and Tanner. We will be spending much our our travels to LA back at the SLS where we know that we'll have a great time. March 7, 2016

By all means if it would be a 3 star hotel it would be a compliment but a Luxery Collection is an insult to your other Luxery Collections not by service nor by standard and for sure not by room standard it was the most dirty room i everhad in Starwood. I arrived at 2am and i had to go through 4 rooms to find a room that was not smellly. clean non of them where. February 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by At last – an uninterrupted and luxurious sleep We gave our son and daughter-in-law a night at SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills for a Christmas present. They hadn't had an uninterrupted night's sleep since their darling daughter was born almost 16 months ago, and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thanks to the staff who went the extra mile to take such good care of them with an upgraded room and an arrival cocktail. They loved every second of their visit and can't wait to go back! Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay I stayed at the property for just one night to help a family member celebrate a birthday. The property is outstanding. Valet staff were friendly, front desk staff who helped me out was fantastic and gave me a Platinum upgrade. The room was really cool. We ate at Bazaar and had a fantastic meal. The next day we used the fitness facility, which was great, and then enjoyed the pool. The food at the pool deck was great and staff was super friendly and responsive. I was a bit nervous based upon some of these reviews, but I can't imagine how anyone could have a bad time here. November 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Hotel Great 7 night stay at SLS, one of the worlds best hotels by far and service is 7 star. Saturday and Sunday brunch is amazing make sure you get the prime rib:) Location is superb and the perfect location in LA being Beverly Hills and close to all the great places in that part of LA. Rooftop pool is really chic and exclusive. Easy access by car of the road. Everything is Five star from the well appointed luxurious rooms, top the funky and chic décor to the outstanding service from everyone. Staff are funky and allowed to be themselves so they are a lot of fun to interact with. Food is amazing really different mix of Spanish and Californian. November 2, 2015
