Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay Stayed just before songkran, staff were excellent, great SPG recognition. The renovated suits are lovely. A little disappointed the executive breakfast wasn't running, I was looking forward to trying it. Pool is great, but was busy even though the rest of the hotel wasn't. April 15, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Class Hotel I always stay at the Sheraton Grande when in Bangkok. The service throughout the hotel is exceptional, rooms are lovely and there's nothing I could really fault. Dining options are excellent and the Basil Thai Restaurant is amazing. Highly recommended hotel. March 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Consistently The Best Hotel In Bangkok Another great stay in The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. The GM and his wonderful team continue to set the bar with superb service dished up with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. February 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Service - Great Room Spent two nights in February 2016. Very good size room, well designed bathroom and sleeping area. Large in-room safe. Pool is really large although a bit chilly. A number of food options: the breakfast was very good. The "Library" was a nice setting, drinks expensive. One important point for visitors to Bangkok: If you want to take the Airport Link then the Sky Train (easy connection between the two lines at Phaya Thai Station), this is a hotel for you: Asok station connects to the hotel. Overall - a really nice property. Would be happy to stay here again. February 14, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost perfect I booked a promotion stay 3 nights pay 2 at Sukhumvit Grande, Bangkok. I chose this hotel due to the BTS connection to the Terminal 21 because I had my newborn traveling with me in a stroller. With my Gold membership, I was offered either extra points or complimentary drinks. I was also able to pick a room near the elevator. The check-in was quick, BUT here is where it went slightly wrong. At the check-in, I asked the staff if my room came with complimentary breakfast, he said No. The very first morning, I did not eat at the hotel but took bridge to Terminal 21 and had breakfast there. That same day, I called to double check if my room had complimentary breakfast, the lady at the desk said Yes. I should have asked for her name. Breakfast to me wasn't a big deal but it was convenient to be able to grab it at the hotel when travel with an infant. The second day. I checked out the Sala area. It was nice and breezy. Service was beyond amazing. I was there for a late lunch. After I was done eating, I checked if my SPG would give an extra discount, my server said Yes. But when it was a time to pay, his manager said, SPG discount only applied to dinner. The second morning, I had breakfast at the Orchid room with my aunt and uncle, who were not staying at the hotel. The bill came out that I was charged for 3 people. The night before I flew out, I settled my bills because I had to leave the hotel at 4 AM. I looked at the bill on TV. and found that I was charged 877 Baht for the mini bar. I did not touch anything in the mini bar because I do not like any of those snack and plus Bangkok has so much to offer when it comes to food. I would not touch anything in the hotel fridge. I got plenty of complimentary drinking water and fresh fruits. That was awesome too. I went to the reception to settle my bill and confirmed with them that I didn't take anything out of the mini bar. They agreed to take that amount out of my bill and told me that they will double check with the cleaning crew to see what had gone wrong. I was fine with it. I don't even know what is a full bar looks like anyway. I wouldn't have known if the mini bar wasn't fully loaded to begin with. That night I went to bed for an early morning. At 1AM. I had a door bell rang, it was the cleaning crew asking me if I was checking out. Half way sleeping, I said I would leave at 4 AM. which was 3 hours from then. Not a fully rested night and left early to the airport. The concierge was very kind to help me loading the Uber car with all my luggage and the stroller. Over all, I would recommend this hotel. The "luxury" level is there, the service is awesome. If only the staff were on the same page. my staying would have been perfect. Since it was only 3 nights, and each night there was little something went out of expectation, it made it seem like I had a rough stay. I would try a different hotel within Starwood next time. But it was a pleasant stay overall. February 12, 2016
