Rated 4 out of 5 by GREAT STAFF I was really impressed with the serivce, however I must say that I was dissappointed with my room. I am an American Express Platinum card holder which entitles me to Gold Preferred Guest status and the front desk extended late check-out and free wi-fi, but the room was tired and faced the courtyard. As a Gold member I should have received a room upgrade; the week before the rooms were half price if you pre-paid but I decided to pay the rack rate - but the room was probably the same as those who paid half price July 23, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice hotel. It is a nice and comfortable hotel. It looks old but elegant. Ubication is exelent . In the other hand I have to ask for shampoo and towels all the six days of our stay. Parking service is to much expensive 59 dollars per night! Internet is expensive too at the room but ther is free internet at the lobby. July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Business and Pleasure trip combined Recently stayed at the Palace for a conference and came early for a weekend of sightseeing with my son. The most beautiful dining area in the city is just off the lobby with a great breakfast buffet. The intimate restaurant dining room is also beautiful. Morey at the front desk was super welcoming as was the Door Man who shared city tips while we waited for a morning tour bus. Bell Service was helpful as was Concierge. The whole staff genuinely wanted to make your stay special. Meeting elements seemed to run smoothly. Guest rooms are small as is typical with historical hotels but room was clean and bath modernized and everything worked. July 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dead bugs in the ice tray Unfortunately, this hotel underwhelmed me. The room could have been cleaner, service should have been faster, and the Keurig was moldy. If you would like pictures of any of the above please let me know. Also, the hairdryer didn't work and when I requested a replacement I needed to call three times before one was delivered - this was in the morning when someone staying would clearly be rushed! A beautiful historic hotel, high ceilings, thick walls (quiet), and classic garden court with modern amenities. Staff was professional and friendly. One of the top 5 hotels we have ever stayed at. Rated 2 out of 5 by Beauitful entrance and atrium The Hotel rooms need a over haul . Dirty carpet , Walls peeling paint .Bathroom to small ,Very noise sleep with banging of doors and a lot of construction . Front desk didn't have the room ready and we check in at 4pm. Then the first room was next to the elevator. Breakfast was cold and fair at best July 21, 2014
