We enjoyed everything about this hotel. It is a beautiful facility in a great location. The staff was excellent and the dining was great!

The staff is above and beyond in there pacific duties.
Our waiter Armine out by the pool restaurant was the best. Such a gentleman and always took care of us.

Impressive words... you should never miss such an experience at least once in a lifetime. Great hotel (location, atmosphere, luxury and people around you) everything was brilliant. However, Staff at answering the phone at Service Express must be trained better and after checking-in we want to have a bottle of wine to the room Ordered the Marquez de Riscal and I was shocked that it´s not available, got a call back that also the 2nd and third choice were not available and every choice was to be confirmed with the manager (Maître d) who had no idea what is on the IRD menu cause 4 wines of the menu weren´t available. I am so proud of Starwood and working for the company I felt bad for such a service. Please Attention to details.. Please everything else was SUPERB and YES I agree that "Life is a collection of experiences. Please try to be the guide". GL

Although the staff was usually excellent and always tried their best to please, some additional training is necessary. The housekeeping staff sometimes forgot tp provide washcloths even when reminded to do so. On the other hand they were there in seconds (it seemed) when called on.
Breakfast coffee could be stronger.
All in all, a beautiful property with friendly, willing-to-help service.

We were awed by the palatial atmosphere of the hotel, but overall disappointed in our experience. The air conditioning was not able to cool the room below 75 degrees and the room and hall had a musty smell. The staff was brisk and unfriendly. We were unable to get a table in the hotel restaurant and were offered no alternate options for dining around or outside the hotel. Customer service was definitely below expectations compared with other hotels in the collection.

From the first moment we arrived, we were made welcome. The staff were invariably friendly, and the concierge, Mr. Francisco, went out of his way to make arrangements for train travel, etc.
The renovated palaces themselves are beautifully finished, and the indoor square a convenient place for meeting friends and dining. The location is also conveniently close to historic sights. My wife and I are looking forward to our next visit.

This restored palace is truly a delight to stay in. The rooms are large and have high ceilings. All the beautiful orginal tile from the 1920's have been beautifully restored. There is always management in the lobby checking to see if everything is okay. It is a remarkable ststem. Christian the day manager is unbelieveably helpful and responsive. The rooms manager seems always concerned to be sure everything is working the way it should, It is your own palace!
