Rated 5 out of 5 by Palatial Vienna Our recent trip to glorious Vienna was topped off by our stay at the Hotel Imperial...truly magnificent! From our welcome by the attentive staff, who warmly showed us to our Imperial Suite, to the kind wishes personally expressed by Herr Christandl, everything about the Hotel Imperial is luxe, yet with a friendly touch that goes beyond practiced professionalism. The rooms are beautiful and the amenities in the hotel are first class. Forgo the elevator and take the grand stair to get a sense of what it must have been like to live royally... Highly recommended! December 16, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vienna, Like A Prince Traveling back to Vienna after being away a few years, I decided to find a special hotel. Using cash and points, I was able to book a room here at a great rate for my girlfriend and me. Upon arrival, we were greeted pleasantly and my Gold status was recognized with a free upgrade to a suite (along with a personal note from the manager Kristian (?) in the room. The staff also helped get us into a performance on Onegin at the opera on the day of the show. January 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Like an emperor One of the most luxurious hotels I've ever stayed in my life (and I've stayed in many). Service was unbeatable and friendly. Can recommend it to anyone who stays in Vienna for either business or leisure. November 16, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Luxurious and elegant They gave us very nice rooms - I had a beautiful room that was nicely decorated and elegant. My sister is a platinum and she had a gorgeous suite with a large attic which was very elegant. The staffs are very courteous and helpful. They brought us to our rooms and explain the room features very thoroughly. The hotel is located at the best spot. A quiet place and only few blocks walk to major landmark and attractions. There are buses and trams right outside as well. January 1, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Classic and grand Stayed here twice a week apart. Had an Elisabeth Suite and a Junior Suite. It's apparent that there is a HUGE difference within room categories depending on location (floor, corner, etc). Pros -Great location -Classic furnishings and fixtures that reflect a bygone era (all of which are well-kept) -Excellent breakfast buffet -Imperial torte -Room comfort Cons -The toilet in the Elisabeth Suite we stayed in is across the suite from the bathroom in a tiny little room. Certainly not an ideal set up. -Having private events scheduled in public spaces, like the lobby bar, really detracts from the ambiance for other guests. Open and attractive spaces are especially important when the rest of the ground floor is closed for renovations. Recognition -The Concierge for their personal touches. We went to see La Cenerentola at the State Opera and the Concierge held on to the Opera bill for us to take home as a memento. Nice touch! June 22, 2014
