This was one of the best hotel experience we have ever had. The staff is outstanding.

We always come to this hotel when we are in Salzburg. It is the quintessential Salzburg experience, right in the old town and across the street from the concert house. The place itself is a monument and has kept its old charm perfectly intact. The staff is very helpful, the restaurants are great. The absolute best is to spend some days here for city/concerts experience and then travel to Schloss Fuschl (also a Starwood property) for a couple nights to get the spa/swimming pool/wellness experience, plus country escape in a fairytale castle.

The warmest welcome from the most charming staff at one of the most original and eclectic hotels in the world.
GH is hard to fault as a hotel. If there was one thing we would suggest it would be fluffy towels!
The staff are without exception just fabulous.

selected the Hotel due to its location. Everything is easy to reach, the atmosphere of the "Getreidegasse" is great. I can recommend the Restaurant Herzl next to hoetl. Great food, nice local people.
