Restyled by acclaimed interior designer Jacques Garcia (in 2008), the Luxury Double rooms at the Hotel Danieli strike an artful balance between a classical Venetian and dramatic Gothic aesthetic. Housed in the Palazzo Danieli Excelsior, the rooms take their cue from the great hall at the Palazzo Dandolo. Opulent details such as gilt molding, arched headboards upholstered in damask, and Doge-red draperies create a striking yet seductive ambience.

An intimate hideaway befitting one of the most romantic cities in Europe, the one-bedroom Lagoon View Junior Suites offer many seductive comforts alongside idyllic views of the Venetian lagoon. From the generous bedroom with its ensuite sitting area perfect for two to the large living area, graced by charming Baroque furnishings in soft pastel lacquer—these suites give plenty of reason to stay indoors.
