Serving an exceptional selection of vintage cognacs, cask-aged whiskeys and fine cigars, it is no wonder that the sophisticated Piano Bar – graced with warm oak panelling and rich leather armchairs – is one of London's favorite spots to enjoy an aperitif or nightcap. Every day from 3pm to 6pm enjoy our traditional afternoon tea at the piano bar, and on Saturday/Sunday rediscover our luxurious tea experience accompanied by melodic live piano music. Our talented piano player performs a medley of beloved classics for your entertainment every evening. A light menu of gourmet delicacies is also available.
In 2005, the Piano Bar launched the Diamond Martini – London's most glamorous and expensive cocktail. This delightful concoction of Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac, champagne and Angostura bitters features a real diamond – its size determined by your preference. The cost ranges from £1,000 for a 0.24-carat diamond up to £4,000 for a one-carat diamond. Guests may commission larger stones or customized items of jewelery in advance – designed and created to your specifications by our superb in-house jeweller Pacha.
The Piano Bar has opened its Outdoor Garden Area, a luxurious permanent extension on the forecourt side of the hotel offering comfortable bar and table seating surrounded by greenery. The Outdoor Garden Area is south-facing for sunshine all day long, and can be covered by a fully retractable large canopy and heated with lamps on colder days. It can be accessed via the Piano Bar, and allows smoking throughout the day.
