Hotel Policies
Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid government issued identification.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older with valid identification to reserve and check into a room.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to guests. There is a limit of $50 per day. There is a limit of $300 per day for Starwood Preferred Guests at or above the Gold Preferred level.
Credit Card Policy
A valid credit card is required upon check-in for all guests. Upon check-out, guests may choose to pay using cash or credit card.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of $30 may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Gift Certificate Policy
To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
Pet Policy
Dogs up to 40 pounds are allowed. Guest must sign waiver at check-in and a deposit or cleaning fee may be required.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Smoking Policy
The Westin Southfield Detroit is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is allowed in designated public areas only.
