Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance. A One-Bedroom Suite can connect to a Traditional Room. For special circumstances, please contact the resort directly.
Extra Bedding Policy
The hotel has a limited number of rollaway beds (cots), which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Because rollaway beds cannot be guaranteed or reserved in advance, the resort recommends that guests reserve additional rooms to ensure adequate bedding.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
Check-In & Checkout Policies
Early Arrival Policy
We are pleased to accommodate early arrivals, based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Additional charges may apply.
All guests checking into the resort are required to show valid, government-issued, photo ID as well as a credit card for payment.
The resort has five guest rooms that meet all local municipal building code requirements for disability accessible rooms, as well as Access Canada's level 2 requirements.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 19 years or older (with valid identification).
A limited number of pet-friendly guest rooms and suites are available in our Fairways building. Guests are required to contact the resort in advance of arrival to pre-register their dog to ensure a pet friendly room is available for their visit. Guests who pre-register their pet, are welcome to bring one dog weighing up to 40 pounds. No other pets are permitted. We are happy to provide a Heavenly® Dog Bed, a pet welcome kit, food bowls, and a mat.
A 20 CAD cleaning fee will be charged per night upon departure. Additionally, our pet fee is subject to 15% tax.
Guests are required to sign a pet policy waiver at check-in. A pet may not be left alone in a guest room and is not permitted in the hotel’s restaurants, pool area, tennis courts, fitness rooms, spa, or golf courses.
Service animals that provide assistance to individuals with disabilities are not considered pets. They are welcome at the hotel and are not subject to the policies and restrictions that apply to pets or other animals.
Health & Well-Being Policies
All guests must maintain a noise level that does not disturb other guests. We ask that non-registered guests curtail their visits by 11pm to ensure quiet for all of our guests. If a noise complaint is reported, security will issue a warning to the offending guest's room. If the noise or disturbance continues after two warnings, guests may be asked to vacate the resort at management's discretion. Parties in guest rooms are not allowed. If you are interested in hosting a party or entertaining during your stay, please contact our Sales department.
We are a smoke-free resort. All guest rooms, suites, balconies, patios, and public spaces inside the resort buildings are 100% smoke-free. Under the Breathe WestinTM program, registered guests who smoke in a guest room or suite could be liable for an additional fee of 200 CAD so the room can be sufficiently cleaned and ready for the next guest.
The resort does not accept personal checks or traveler's checks as payment.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. If a debit card was provided as payment, a cash refund will be provided for funds held in excess of the amount actually incurred and charged.
Gift Certificate Acceptance Policy
The resort accepts two types of Gift Certificates: paper ones that start with a P or a G and 4 digits and Bear Mountain Resort Gift Cards.
A valid credit card is required at check-in for every reservation. A credit card will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay plus tax and a deposit of 50 USD per night to cover incidentals. Cash or debit cards are not accepted as payment for the deposit. Guests may settle their bills with cash or debit card, at checkout.
Resort Charge Policy
Guests will be charged a resort charge of 22 CAD plus taxes (25.30 CAD) per day. The resort charge covers: access to the fitness facility, including one fitness class per registered guest per room per day; unlimited local and toll-free telephone calls; 30 minutes of long-distance calling in North America per stay; wired and wireless High Speed Internet Access in guest rooms and public areas; access to the Golf Practice Facility, including range balls and clubs for range use; golf-bag storage; and self-parking in our on-site facilities.
