Please note that the area in front of the resort is a public beach. There is a strong current and we discourage guests from swimming in the ocean as there are no lifeguards on duty. Seclusion Day Information: March 28, 2017
Nyepi is an important religious event in Bali and marks the beginning of the New Year in the Balinese Hindu calendar. In 2017, Nyepi falls on March 28. On Nyepi Day, from 6am to 6am the following day, all daily activities throughout Bali will stop. Shops and offices will be closed and people are not allowed to go out into the streets, engage in entertainment activities, turn on lights or make noise which may disturb others. Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed for Nyepi Day. Neither departures nor arrivals are permitted on March 28, 2017.
There will be changes in hours of operation for our venues. There will be very little outside lighting during the night and there will be no transportation services to and from the resort. WET® (pool) is available for your enjoyment until 4pm; however, we request that you do not use the beach area or swim in the sea on Nyepi Day.
In addition, as per a new regulation of the Government of Bali, all television providers, including cable channels, will not broadcast during Nyepi Day. A collection of books is available at WIRED, and DVD movies and some table games are available upon request at Whatever/Whenever®. Starfish Bloo & Woobar will be closed on March 28, 2017; however, our fabulous In-Retreat Dining is open 24 hours, and FIRE is open until 10pm.

Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older to reserve a room. Guests under the age of 18 should be accompanied by parents. The resort respectfully reserves the right to check identification.
Additionally, children 16 years and under are not permitted to use the gym and spa facilities.
Connecting Room Policy

Extra Bedding Policy
For a surcharge, our Whatever/Whenever® service will be thrilled to provide a crib for our wee guests, available by request. The crib measures 40"x43"x28" and features a steel frame with a four-inch foam mattress. While the resort does not offer rollaway beds, for an additional charge our sofas can be converted into a comfortable pillow top sleeper. Blankets and additional pillows are available upon request.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are under 11 years of age sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room when shared with a paying adult. Maximum of two children are allowed in Garden View and Ocean Facing guest rooms. Rollaway charges apply. Baby cribs are available upon request.
Two adults per room are allowed at the regular rate. Additional charges apply for a third adult. Children are considered to be 11 years of age and under.
Queen rooms can accommodate a maximum of four persons: 2 Adults + 2 Children.
King rooms can accommodate a maximum of four persons: 2 Adults + 2 Children + an additional charge for a sofa bed.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.

Early Arrival Policy
Check-in time is 3pm. To guarantee immediate access to your room upon early arrival, please make your reservation the night prior to arrival.
Early Departure Policy
The resort accommodates early departures upon request. However, an early departure fee equivalent to 50% of one night's room and tax applies to guests checking out less than one day prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in, without advance notification.
For security purposes, valid photo identification for all in-house guests and their visitors is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and/or proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation. The resort reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest without valid photo identification.
Late Checkout Policy
Standard checkout is at 12 noon. We are happy to offer complimentary late checkout through 4pm, based on availability. All late checkouts are based on demand and availability. The concierge is pleased to check baggage until departure, should there be no availability. For check-outs after 4pm, a day use charge will apply. For late check-outs after 6pm, 100% of the room rate will apply. Please contact Whatever/Whenever® to request a late checkout.
The resort is Disability Accessible-compliant. Room amenities include TDD, close-captioned TV, handrails in bathroom by the bathtub and toilet, lowered toilet seats, roll-in showers, lower door peepholes and handicap parking. Please contact the resort directly to make arrangements if you require an Accessible room.
Guests must be 21 and over to consume alcoholic beverages, with a valid photo ID or passport.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
Babysitting service must be requested at least two hours in advance. Please contact the hotel for further information.
The resort requests smart/casual dress at all times, throughout all areas. Certain facilities require strict adherence to certain dress codes—please check in advance.
We regret that we cannot accept pets at the resort.
All guests are welcome to use and enjoy the pool. Parents or guardians are expected to be with their children under 12 years of age at all times at the pool.
The resort requests local guests to provide a valid photo ID (KTP) at check-in. All non-local guests must present a passport valid at least 6 months from the date of entry to Indonesia, and proof of onward passage (either return or through tickets). Please check with your nearest Indonesian embassy to get an updated list of countries that do not require a visa to enter Bali, or for countries that require and are eligible for Visa-On-Arrival. The Visa-On-Arrival is non-extendable and cannot be converted into a different visa. Citizens of countries not on the Visa-On-Arrival or Visa-Free lists will be required to apply for a visa before entering Indonesia. If guests cannot fulfill the above requirements, they may not be allowed to enter the country. The resort is not held responsible for the failure of applying this visa/passport policy.

A team of security officers is stationed around the resort 24 hours a day, with security patrols at regular schedules.
Guests may request for smoking rooms at the time of check-in, subject to availability. A 100 USD deep cleaning fee will apply to any guest who smokes in a non-smoking room. Designated smoking areas are provided throughout the resort.

While the resort does not accept personal checks, we provide exchange services for foreign traveler's checks at the Welcome desk based on our book-keeping rate. The resort retains the right to validate the traveler's checks and requires a passport or valid photo ID for the transaction.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
While cash and American Express traveler’s checks are accepted, the credit card used to book a reservation is required at check-in and will be preauthorized for incidental charges. This credit card must be valid for the entire stay. The credit card used to make the reservation will be swiped into the Electronic Data Capture Machine. Otherwise, the hotel will require another credit card for guarantee. A valid photo ID is required for all transactions.
A credit card authorization approval form must be filled out and sent to the reservations department for any credit card used to guarantee a reservation made by a third party. Additionally, a clear copy of the front and back of the credit card (with the CVV number marked out) must be faxed to the resort’s secure fax number prior to the guest’s arrival.
