This preauthorization amount is based on an average of what most guests spend daily at our resort, and covers charges that may be incurred during one’s stay. Such charges may include but are not limited to dining venues, room service, movies, High Speed Internet Access, telephone, spa, golf, and retail purchases. Restaurants, bars, and the spa are cashless venues, with the exception of the Fiji Premium Club House. Any charges incurred at these venues must be charged back to one’s room or can be paid by credit card directly at the venue.
If room charges exceed the preauthorization amount at any time during a stay, guests will be asked to settle the account at the front desk, and an additional pre-authorization will be taken for the remainder of their stay.
While no funds will be transferred from a credit card account to the resort until checkout, the credit card company will reserve this amount as a guarantee to the resort, which may limit the credit available for other purchases. If a guest chooses an alternate method of payment to settle a bill at checkout, the credit card company may take several days to cancel the preauthorization. The resort has no control over this process and is not responsible for any resulting fees. If a cash deposit is provided at check-in, the unused balance will be refunded at checkout.
