Overall its a good hotel in great location. However, rooms are a bit old and might result in less comfortable stay than you wish. I've stayed at this hotel 2 times: the first time had a spacious room with a fantastic view, everything was smooth. However, the second time experience was very different - room doors were old and had gaps so you could hear everything whats happening in the corridor, incl. people talking at night, smashing doors, elevator. Then a guest in a neighboring room decided to watch TV at 330am - walls are quite thin so i could hear everything. And cherry on the top - the toilet was broken and was flushing automatically each 30mins - all in all - a real challenge if you are trying to sleep.
When the next day i informed the front desk about the problems. Instead of relocating me to a room where doors are thicker and toilet is not broken - i got a visit of mechanic, who spent half an hour in the bathroom - great company for saturday morning...! (no offense, the mechanic was friendly and was trying to help but still its no what i expect on saturday in 5* hotel)
all in all - the hotel is good, staff cares about you, food is good (both restaurant and breakfast) but experience depends on the room you get - from stunning views at the top floors to noisy and worn-out standard/club rooms

I’ve stayed here several times over the years, and posted a previous review. This time, I applied two confirmed suite upgrades to an Executive Suite (only upgrade option offered). The upgrade was confirmed 5 days out, and worked as advertised. If you want a suite at this property, the Suite Night Award may be the way to go.
The suite itself is literally two regular rooms with the connecting door open. One room is designated the living room, while the other, the bedroom. As such, there are two full-sized bathrooms. It’s furnished quite well and I have no complaints. I was brought a complimentary 750mL bottle of water and half-bottle of 2011 Chilean Merlot, which was a first for me at this property. There are also two mini-bars in the room, with one being empty for you to stick any food in.
Staff was friendly, room service was quick and the food was good as usual. Shepherd’s pie and Bangers and mash have been taking off the menu though. Shame, as those were one of my favorites!
Hotel elevator was broken for the first day I checked in, necessitating me to call down to have the elevator manually brought up to my floor if I wanted to leave. Staff was apologetic and did their best to alleviate any inconvenience. While it was annoying and not a huge inconvenience, I think management should have been a bit more proactive and offered points/drinks to the affected guests, especially for a high end hotel.

The Park Tower is located several blocks from Harrods Department store and one block from Harvey Nichols and Hyde Park. Several blocks in the opposite direction you can take advantage of the Hop on Hop off bus. Walking to Buckingham Palace would be nice on any day. The hotel is central to most exhibits.
The hotel is an easy to spot circular tower. Every room above a certain floor has a great view. Our arrival was pleasant with the front desk and doorman. The rooms are classic contemporary design and well maintained. They acknowledged my wife’s birthday with a bottle of Champagne. We could not get the suite until the second week of our stay which made our vacation more memorable. Normally, suite rooms come with butler service but there was no mention of it during our stay.
The concierge was very helpful during our vacation. His provided valuable information for a great vacation. Afternoon tea and evening drinks in the Hyde Bar was comfortable and friendly.
Overall our stay was memorable. We would certainly come back again. There were a few mishaps: we called for room service for a bucket of ice and they put my call on an answering machine. We never received the bucket of ice that night. However, every night we received a bucket of ice thereafter. Changing our room to a suite, the luggage was not in our room as promised. When I called for luggage assistants the person could not understand what I was asking for. Later I received a call from the front desk to apologies.
Recommend you take the Black Taxi while in town. Trafalgar Square, London Eye and Parliament cost about 8 pounds. If you have not been to London before, it’s best to use the hop on hop off bus and avoid the London pass until your next visit. There is much to see in and around the town and most exhibits are free.
We make use of the breakfast as often as we could and enjoyed it with great customer service, however, there was an older waiter that was rude and expressed his opinion indirectly, which made my wife and I extremely uncomfortable. We tried to avoid him but he ended up as our waiter several time. He was extremely rude. However, the young lady from Brail was very nice and provided a comfortable atmosphere.
