Rated 4 out of 5 by Disney Vacation Overall the atmosphere of the Swan hotel and refurbished rooms were very pleasing, clean and neat. Staff was courteous and the grounds were well maintained. The Swan is in a prime location to the WDW theme parks as well as the Disney boardwalk and hotels. Being a Starwood Gold member I did feel a bit left out at check in. Knowing that there are some perks to being a gold member, I was never asked if I wanted a drink voucher or 250 Starpoints upon check in. I was also not asked if I'd like a room upgrade or even if that was an option. It just wasn't even mentioned to me. I did speak with a different staff member a few days later and they were more on the ball. That particular employee was able to easily accommodate me with a 2 pm late check out for the end of my stay, which was one week. I feel that some of the employees should be a bit more attentive to SPG members. I did stay with my spouse and two children. Overall we all had a good time. I would highly recommend staying at the Swan hotel. September 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Disney Guest... I'm fortunate to spend at least once a month in a Disney resort with my husband and 6 year old daughter. This stay, however, was awful. I've ALWAYS had a pleasant experience in all the resorts and never experienced anything like this. We requested early check in and the room was not ready (1pm), my daughter was sick and we wanted to get her into bed to rest so we were given the option of paying an additional $40 (not including tax) to upgrade our room. I paid it, got to the room and the air conditioner was broke and toilet wouldn't flush. After waiting 30+ minutes for maintenance, I went down to the front desk to speak to the manager since the room was extremely warm/muggy. He indicated it typically takes an hour and I just needed to keep waiting, that was it. After we rested, we went out for a little bit and came back and room had yet again warmed up but I didn't have the time or energy to complain again. Thankfully this was only a ONE night stay. The website also implies there is a 3pm check out. I was also informed upon checking in and paying more money this was very rare. It's safe to say I will NEVER be returning to the Swan again. Rated 5 out of 5 by In love The property is huge and amazing, check in was quick and my son got a balloon that made his day! Is an small touch that made him immensely happy! It was our first time there and more to come! Staff was friendly and engaged. Sean at the Garden Grove was outstanding, stylist that took care of our room did an amazing service, we call for caffe and it was delivered in less than 10minutes! Everything was amazing thank you Swan for a wonderful stay! August 9, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Help even in emergencies! We have stayed at this property before but this time was absolutely excellent. I am a SPG Platinum member and we had booked 2 rooms for a family of 2 grandparents, 2 adults and 4 kids (3,6,9,11). We were upgraded to the presidential suite (complete with piano!) which was amazing to unwind at the end of long Disney days. The refrigerator was very nice as well. The amazing part came when my daughter tripped, fell and cut her ear pretty bad. We called for emergency help and the safety and support staff were amazing. The came quickly, helped get the Disney EMTs to the room and kept everyone really calm. We ended up needing to go the urgent care and they provided vouchers for the the taxi ride. Just a amazing level of support for a trying experience. All the usual stuff holds true as well with location and on property benefits. Thank you Westin Swan! July 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Orlando Mixed Visit I had to come to Orlando for work, and my wife wanted to take our children to DisneyWorld. Here's a summary of what worked great and what needs improvement. Needs Improvement: 1) DisneyWorld is an absolute disaster for upfront information. There is a "Fastpass" that is available sooner for guests of Disney Resorts versus people not staying on Disney properties. This was highly confusing for me, I kept getting conflicted information from The Disney people and the hotel people. As I was not going to Disney, I had to add my wife to the reservation so that she could book this "Fast Pass". I'm still confused, and I wish the hotel could explain it better or at least be able to connect me simultaneously with Disney to I don't have to call 2 places who keep pointing the finger at each other. 2) Initial check-in; My wife arrived at the hotel earlier than me. Despite my having communicated with guest relations in advance that this would be happening; my wife got attitude from the front desk when she inquired about the platinum upgrade. GREAT 1) Guest relations were truly outstanding. They communicated with me numerous times and put things in motion for my stay to be as enjoyable as possible. They were diligent, helpful, and very professional. They sent a bottle of wine and cheese to my room which I thought was really classy, and a really nice touch. When I had other slight requests they took care of them and made my stay seem effortless. 2) Front Desk Manager. OUTSTANDING. When I called the hotel to inquire as to why my wife was getting attitude at check-in, he took control of the situation, apologized, upgraded me, and made me feel like my platinum status has value. I think his name was Mark and he expeditiously dealt with my displeasure. 3) Rooms; If you get a suite... it's amazing. Spacious, clean, comfortable, really enhanced my stay. I was able to get my work done while the family enjoyed their time at Disney. July 22, 2016
