The hotel itself is nice however the people above us partied all night until 6 in the morning. We couldn't take it anymore so we left. Apparently security was called about the problem but it seems to me like nothing was done about it. I know we let them know about it at the front desk and they just said sorry.

Beautiful place and wonderful helpful staff. The food was fabulous in the indoor and outdoor eating places. Plenty of places to sit poolside.

I visited this Westin as a Platinum member who received 2 free nights from staying so much with SPG this year. I booked this trip as an engagement trip, booking my fiance a spa day to help unwind after a very stressful week. When I arrived, I had nothing but trouble checking in, a staff who was rather rude and unaccommodating when I needed help, and attempted to charge me $3 when I asked for silverware to be sent to the room after the first request never arrived. I've never had a single SPG property, resort or otherwise, attempt to charge me simply to bring a trivial item to the room. This property seems to be in the business of nickle and diming anyone they possibly can, and I don't plan on ever staying there again. We were hoping to turn visiting Hilton Head into an annual tradition, but it will never be with this Westin property ever again.

Located near the northern end of Hilton Head Island's spectacular beach, secluded dunes are a short walk away. Breakfasts in the Carolina Room are wonderful, and the staff are very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Nice location but the rooms need attention (musty smells in bathroom, paint falling and mildew above shower)
Be careful at reservation desk. Especially if you are on a trip being paid for by your company or such. The hotel might very well charge you instead since your card is the easiest path to get their money. They can't seem to help fix it either. You have to escalate since the desk is not capable of doing the right thing.

My family really enjoyed staying at this property. The pools were fantastic. We enjoyed our meals at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel was clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. We definitely would recommend this hotel :)

I had the pleasure of combining a business trip with a long family weekend and overall enjoyed the stay.
The lobby seems to be renovated and is nice, but the rooms definitely need some updating. Additionally the staff was sometimes slow to respond and took me a while to get new keys issues. Otherwise the hotel was fine and is on a great location in Hilton Head.
