Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed This was my favourite hotel in Beijing but I had a really disappointing experience this this. First, there was only one umbrella in the room while we have two guests. When I asked the stuff did not even try to find the additional one for us but told us there was no more. Secondly, I recently got the Platinum status but only treated as Gold status. Thirdly, we need to travel to the US but will come back and stay here again and asked to save a bottle of wine in the Hotel. The stuff very coldly refused to do it for us. Overall, the service quality completely changed my good impression of this Hotel. Very disappointed. October 23, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not St. Regis quality I agree with the previous reviews that this facility should not be recognized as a St. Regis property. The service was horrible; the staff got the breakfast order wrong every time. I understand some things are lost in translation, but the staff should be much better trained in the english language. I would say that about 20% of the staff can communicate properly, with the other staff barely get by. The hotel is dated as mentioned below, but what really stands out is the lack of service. The concierge was useless- I asked about the recent China Open- a big tennis tournament currently going on; it took about 5 people to figure it out that the tournament is happening, and had no clue about getting tickets. I also asked them to make a reservation at a restaurant- pretty easy task- however the concierge calls me back, and asks the phone number of the restaurant! Save your points, or go to the W nearby !- Geoff October 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by You have found a good spot. Highly recommend the hotel. Our first trip to Asia. I have a 12 and 9 year old. The staff made us feel like home. When we would return from a day of tours they wanted to know how we did. How was the tour. They asked about my wife and kids. The resturant staff knew us after the first morning. For the busy city like Beijing this hotel is great place to start and finish the day. Can say enough about the staff. No request to difficult. We forgot a bag of souvenirs and they are sending them to us!!!!! PS>>> They provided bottle water for us every day for our tours. It's little things like that made us feel at home September 9, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Quiet Oasis in the Middle of Beijing's Chaos A group of us used this hotel when we had a long connection through PEK and it met all of our expectations. The entire staff was excellent, starting with the front desk to the staff at the bar. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Beijing for the first time, the staff is extremely helpful and can direct you to see some of the sites off the beaten path. July 18, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel needs urgent refurbishment Totally not a St Regis-level property. A disgrace to the St Regis brand name. Property needs urgent refurbishment and additions and improvements to its facilities, rooms and amenities. Pool was totally inadequate, rooms are worse than some Sheraton properties across Asia, business lounge is laughable. July 9, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible service. Hotel should remove the St Regis flag No platinum recognition. Butler service is amazing. Front desk and front desk manager just laugh when you ask them for anything. Fell extremely short of what a st Regis should be. Go the westin chaoyang if you want service. March 25, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by quite old, not qualified as a category five Location is good and has easy access to the palace, ifc, shopping district, etc. The facility is quite old, honestly, especially the guest room. Power outlet design is terrible, and the bathroom is just way too tiny. Since the W is not far away, I would choose that next time. February 29, 2016
