Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel experience This hotel was the highlight of my vegas trip! The staff were great and the rooms were good. Pool is heated and open 24/7 I dont like huge casino hotels so this was good for us. No upgrades were available for me but the hotel was sold out so I can live with that. I was dissappointed that the hotel stopped the evening reception with no notice but its a small thing in the long run. Platinum breakfast was not offered for one adult and two kids under 11 which suprised me but I could live with that too. April 21, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff was great I only stayed one night passing through town with my family. Staff contacted me via email asking if they could do anything to make my stay more comfortable. I asked for an upgrade to a higher floor with a view. Two hours later it was confirmed. Staff in hotel was great also. The facility itself was ok but nothing special. April 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff & Property I have been staying here for the last 10 years almost since they redid the old Maxim and got rid of the Tupac image! This is a great property, the staff is always fantastic, and the last remodel is super tasteful. The only thing they need to improve is the lobby/casino music! The valet and bar staff will remember your name and appreciate a smile and thank you! Thank you to everyone on site at this property that makes me look forward to this week long stay year in and year out! March 29, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by If you like cold showers and are not in town for business While we all understand that not all rooms can be ready earlier, I arrived early (as announced in response to their inquiry via email prior to my stay) and room was only ready at 3pm. While I was waiting, there is no ability to conduct any form of work or phone call in a quiet area. The room was Westin standard and allowed to rest comfortably. I ran out of hot water in the shower after about 2 minutes. The breakfast buffet is inexplicably expensive. When inquiring about the hot water, I was provided with a litany of excuses and that "they has experienced it throughout that day". I never received my folio via email as it requested at check-in and on my SPG profile, and had to follow up multiple times to get it (I still don't have it). The only reason I could see for staying there is for the Starwood points, but not for the platinum status as it provides absolutely no benefit. March 26, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by There is no happy hour. Hotel still shows happy hour which is included in resort fee. Last month I got a free drink coupon. This month they pulled it all together. They should remove it from their features. Resort fee covers nothing I need. Good location close to strip although road construction nearly makes it impossible to access during rush hours. Rated 2 out of 5 by Lots of failures Just wrapped up 4 days at the hotel. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation and marred what should have been a nice stay. -Mattresses were old and lumpy, far from the usual heavenly bed experience. -rooms were very small with low ceilings -door to my room was not fitted, leaving a 2-inch gap that let every loud noise from the hallway into my room. I also had to move rooms during my stay as an hvac problem flooded my room. Staff was initially responsive in trying to find me another room (took about an hour in the middle of the night). No staff offered to help me schlep my belongings to a new room or bring up a bellhop's cart for me. They promised they'd follow up on two separate occasions, but never did. The hotel is fine. It's clean, staff is nice if blasé, it's in a good location, Starbucks is legit. But it's not up to Westin standards. March 10, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by Responsiveness is underwhelming I have stayed at this property many times, and have always been very satisfied. I have just begun a stay of one night, and am contemplating checking out. I arrived at 11:30 am, and fully understand that a hotel cannot always accommodate guests that early. However I was told at check-in that a room was ready, but simply needed to be be de-feathered (wife has allergies), and it would only be about 30 minutes. 2 hours later the room is ready. The room turns out to be a small double, even though the clerk had confirmed that I had a King. 45 minutes after getting into the room, our luggage was brought up. Only 1 experience, but it will make me think about where to stay on my next LV trip. March 4, 2016
