I already reviewed this hotel in the past, and my vote was much higher. Yet, during last two years I stayed here for almost one month, and I can now propose a more comprehensive picture.
Nice rooms, very responsive staff, excellent Indian and Chinese restaurants, good breakfast but buffet should be varied a bit more, good SPA and gym but small and insufficient pool, nice Club Lounge at the top floor with a spectacular view.
Two negative elements to be enhanced. During my last one week stay I asked for the pick up service at the airport twice, and both times they kept me waiting for the driver at the terminal. Twice in a raw...
Last but not least, if you are a Platinum SPG member DO NOT EXPECT ANY UPGRADE, and forget about their junior suits. Their usual feedback is "sorry, no rooms available", but after staying here so many times and for so many nights that appears as a specific company policy, and their ridiculous excuses appear rather irritating, in particular if you are a frequent traveller and therefore you know the way it works at many other hotels in all the other countries.
I personally do not care about this kind of Platinum recognition, but it is just I have enough of this insulting shortsighted approach to the clients they should definitely care more about.

The ITC One suite, I used, was extremely spacious and offers a excellent city views. The massage chair in the room kept one busy. It was was as good as a small one room apartment.
The location is suitably central to most of the business centers in South & Central Mumbai.
The breakfast & dinner buffet menus has excellent spread and had all the good choices. The staff is extremely friendly and very efficient.
However the pool was optimally sized , the gym could have been slightly larger
Overall a great location for a business trip may not be best suited in terms of location for a leisure trip with family as no close access to waterfornt

This is my fifth time to Mumbai but my first time at this hotel. From the time I arrived to the moment I left I was treated superbly. The staff are very friendly and keen to assist, at any time of the day and in any way.
Very clean, spacious, lots of character and oozing charm, this hotel was very relaxing. My job is challenging and I need my hotel to take care of my needs so I can focus purely on my work. For this hotel, nothing was a problem.

I am travelling to Mumbai for work and the ITC Grand Central is a great place to come back and unwind. The service is first class and the service at breakfast is the best I have experienced in India. I will be back soon. Grant

I just checked in into this hotel and since check-in this hotel was different in treating SPG members as compared to other starwoods member hotels. In my previous stay at a starwood hotel in China- I got free room upgrade and free internet access without asking and was told that it was part of my member benefit but when I checked in into this hotel- they didnt provide free room upgrade and internet was chargeable. On talking to staff members- they said that because while booking something was not mentioned on website during reservation they cannot provide and this is how they operate. This is a very ppor customer service and in my first 30 mins of stay- it feels a wrong choice of hotel- I am not coming to hotel again.

I've stayed in this hotel four times, and it seems they keep improving. The desk, bell, and concierge staff are incredible, the facilities are perfect, rooms spotless and very well equipped. I had a massage charin in my room which was heavenly. Even the toiletries are top notch. The only complaint I had? The prices for the hotel car were very high. However, the cars were instantly available any time you requested one, so I guess I'm paying for that service.

The hotel is great and the hospitality is awesome . I love the place except fro the fact that they dont really treat SPG levels well . In the last 3-4 months i have definitely stayed there for atleast 5-6 times and they never give me an upgrade. A lot of times they didn't even recognize my SPG level. There have been times when i asked them specifically if there is no upgrade and they would say no room is available . I wish they rewarded loyalty.
