Rated 5 out of 5 by Rudra Great Customer Service
The service was excellent. The staff were very attentive to our needs at all the times.
For example, my wife was vegetarian and was looking for veg. noodles during the breakfast buffet but there was none available. But the staff and chef made sure they made her special noodles dishes which was vegetarian.

Rated 5 out of 5 by marie91 Wonderful staff in this hotel
Totally enjoyed my stay in this hotel and in the main this was due to the lovely friendly staff. They were all very helpful and kind. I would like particularly to mention three of the staff who made my stay very special. In the lobby lounge, Sophany was very friendly and attentive, and went out of her way to facilitate every request. Sinuon and Hon were warm and friendly and they helped me so much in the hotel shop and with my check-out. I feel privileged to have met them and and that they took the time to chat with me and tell me about their lovely country.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the facilities of a very high standard. The one negative comment I would make is that the room was very dark with very little natural light. Even the electric lighting which had to be used during the day was very dark. The pool and gardens were lovely. The hotel had a great choice of restaurants and food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wylim Almost perfect....
I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care my family received at Le Meridien Angkor from 12 Jun to 16 Jun 2016. I took my wife and little boy on our 11th wedding anniversary, and I wanted it to be perfect. Most of staff did not disappoint us. Staff from Angkor Royal Cafe consistently excellent customer service and they deserve all the well earned praise. Particularly they are Sotha, Sokhemrei, Linda and Sony. Especially Sotha as he went the extra mile on the service to invite us for complimentary buffet dinner due to my son's lunch meal was accidentally discarded. We were not expecting to have such a pleasant surprise experience, but we did. Excellent and impeccable customer service that we had received. Well done, Sotha.
Not to forget intern Erica & Kihyun from Angkor Royal Cafe too. Their willingness to serve, demonstrate a genuine concern, desire to provide excellent service and high passion for customer service that we received, particularly my little boy like them very much!!! Chum and Sokorng from Naga Bar are the another excellent team that provide an unparallel of customer services. They extremely efficient, polite and helpful to ensure we are well taken care of so to enjoy the evening cocktails. Tomomi from Front desk is polite and friendly. We were delighted when he told us our room has upgraded to suit. However, probably due to an oversight, I was charged US $500 on the spot to my credit card as he unaware my room fees was already fully paid. From his explanation, this US $500 also serve as deposit but I told him that this amount was too big as deposit. We didn't encountered such huge deposit to be paid in other SPG properties in the past. We requested the transaction to be void but to not avail. Experience Manager Sania explained to us that this issue will be rectify on the next business day and only charge the minimal amount of US $50 per day, and will update us the outcome. Unfortunately, we didn't heard any news since then. Damn...did you know you have a super damn good Housekeepers in your Le Meridien Angkor??? They came thrice a day to clean room. WOW....they are fantastic and undoubtedly, they are unsung HEROES behind every hotel's success. One of the most important department in your hotel is typically the most overlooked. They had made the most positive difference in our travel experience. Please please do honoring your unsung heroes. Same goes to the team members who constantly keep the surrounding hotel nice and clean!!! Also, would like to thanks friendly staff Som from Concierge counter that he patiently helps us to arrange an educational trip to Silk Farm. Thanks for excellent and yummy foods be it breakfast, lunch or dinner!!! And we would like to say this is the best SPG hotel we ever experienced!!! Thanks!!!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from 26th February to 1st March and all we have is accolades for the amenities, service and particularly the staff.
The excellent service started even before we left Melbourne, Australia and set foot in the hotel! In my email correspondence with Chanthy from the concierge team and Chanly, the experience specialist prompt, if not instant response, was their modus operandi. Airport pickup was timely and it was a smooth, relaxing drive to the hotel with Sophea, an excellent driver who engaged in small talk furnishing us with some interesting facts about Siem Reap and Cambodia. Chanly arranged all our private tours prior to our arrival and everything went like clockwork.
We were accorded a very warm welcome with cold fresh juices and towels, a refreshing relief after 16 hours on the road and an early check-in. The hotel with its wide high-ceilinged lobby had a very relaxing feel and aura about it the moment we stepped in.
The room and bathroom are spacious and well appointed, the lobby lounge which looks into the lush palm garden is comfortable, the Royal Angkor Cafe serves delicious Khmer cuisine and the gardens and surroundings are verdant, well-maintained and manicured.
Service in all areas of the hotel is second to none - professional, attentive and extremely friendly. Of special mention are Som who heads the concierge team, Chanly who made our experience of Siem Reap and all its wonders seamless and the waiting staff, Mon and Sophany in the lobby lounge and Somkea, Sery, SengHorn and TongHeng in the Royal Angkor Cafe who always had nothing but smiles for us. I would also like to compliment them on their good spoken English which not only allowed for ease of communication but friendly chit chats and some banter. To top the list is the General Manager who is most affable, personable and approachable and Nicolas, the Executive Chef who recommended some excellent choices from the A'la Carte menu.
Not to be forgotten is the small plate of little Khmer sweets/pastries delivered to the room each afternoon - a warm touch and gesture indeed.
We truly had a wonderful, most relaxing and memorable holiday. In fact, having travelled to many countries in the East, several cities in Canada and some countries in Europe where we stayed at numerous Starwood hotels, my husband has declared that this was our best holiday ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Valentina2016 Great hotel!
Hotel room was nicely decorated and bed was very comfortable! Hotel staff was very helpful! Location is very near to Angkar Wat ticket office and the national museum which makes sightseeing easier. The food was not impressive, the selection at breakfast was not much comparing to other Le Meridien I stayed in the past... Nevertheless I would still recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Siem Reap :)

The hotel is really old and in desperate need of renovation, the overall design and look and feel of the hotel feels like a bunker.
