Rated 3 out of 5 by We have always enjoyed staying there but it is not as pleasurable as it use to be. It took very long to check in and to check out. We were not treated very positively as SPG members and customers who use the hotel quite often. It is a pity that the big Jacuzzi was out of order for that is one of the main reasons we visit so often. Staff at breakfast was slow to serve and remove used plates. October 3, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel for quick family getaway The hotel is one of the classics left in the UAE. The hotel has a real 5 star old world feel with great food and plenty of pools and an interesting sea view. We stayed in a non sea view room, but the service was great and food equally good. I hope this hotel does not fall to the usual modernization which kills such great classics! July 9, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by A place to stay in comfort I was touch by the aminities and personalized card, i felt recognized. Staff were very promt to my request, from front office to the room service. They are very informative as well.The f&b outlets are worth the visit.Thanks to Nicholas (dont remember it right sorry) in Papagallo, and the guys behind the bar in NRG. The selections of food for breakfast are nice. The pool and the beach are well kept and clean. And also, WIFI service is excellent! June 29, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very average hotel. Our stay was ok- we went as a party of 6 for a mini-break. Booked all inclusive package- not much included sadly! Would have been great to have more available. Saying that, what was on offer was OK. Service in the restaurant great at breakfast and lunch. Terrible at dinner. Drinks took half an hour to arrive, muddled orders and uncleared plates from other diners surrounding our table. Rooms smelt very musty and damp but bed was comfortable. check in and check out process was ridiculous long. Problems at check out retrieving the 500 aed deposit we were asked to put down on arrival. Staff questioned this for over half an hour but eventually returned in full. This delayed us as well as irritated us greatly. Generally conceirge and most staff friendly but doubt I would come back to this hotel again. June 12, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great location, outdated property 1) Location was excellent 2) Property is outdated in terms of room amenities and technology 3) Doesn't feel like a Le'Meridien property in comparison to other cities 4) Had a extremely late check in and there was only a single staff at the lobby. Felt the hotel is understaffed 5) Booked a prepaid rate which according to SPG rules has to be deducted immediately on booking. This was not done which was an inconvenience as it required me to make payment upon checking out in a mode which I was not comfortable with. 6) Food was average, didn't stand out though 7) Quality of sleep was good. Was well rested Overall an average property. On a personal note, does not meet Le'Meridien Standards which are applied elsewhere. Staff needs to be more attentive and I think the property needs a major overhaul. June 8, 2016
