Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent Sheraton Was warmly welcomed to the hotel as a Plat member, and had my photo taken with the front desk staff for some reason. Upgraded to a Club Floor room, that was really clean. Furniture and carpet are a bit older, but is fine. The bed sits low, but was surprisingly comfortable. Plats get free breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The food is varied, and high quality. Unfortunately, it doesn’t open until 7am, which can be a problem for people with early morning flights. Gym was decent sized, with a good selection of equipment. The Sheraton is located in Saket, which is a bit south for touristy locations, but is close to the red line Metro station. February 15, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Another Sheraton Old Style Hotel This hotel has given me many problems in the past. They rarely have my information correct when I go to check in, and they have not recognized my Gold/Platinum Status with stays there. The rooms are small and average, but we continue to come back here when traveling through Delhi. It typically is the cheapest of the Delhi hotel options with SPG, and we do not spend a lot of time at the hotel when the travel through. Saying all of that, the Club Lounge is really nice, and I think the best service in the hotel takes place in that lounge. Also, my wife has a gluten intolerance, and the breakfast staff do a great job to help her with something to eat. January 1, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth being a Sheraton & a SPG associate Very ill-tranined staff with no value for SPG Gold member. Staff not up to the mark as a Shearton Brand name should have. Property ill-managed. Believe it or not during my stay the Elevator of the Hotel was out of function from 21:hrs when i got stuck on the 6th floor and had to use service elevator to go down and the situation was the same even after 4 hrs whn i returned to the hotel. The satff was very discourteous of the entire situation. Even after my repeated complaints not even once any of the senior management team memeber bothered to get in touch with me.NOT AT ALL VALUE FOR MONEY, instead CHOOSE THE OTHER ITC SHERATON IN DELHI WITH SAME RATES December 2, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Why is this hotel under SPG Sheraton, New Delhi, India. Have stayed once before the current stay. My corporate package had internet included, but the hotel staff selected internet as my SPG Gold Amenity. When i visited again this time i explained this to the lady checking me in. I took almost ten minutes to explain to her what i was trying to explain. It seemed she was not aware of the SPG point system. Being SPG Gold, i was given access to the club lounge. The lounge was packed and had to wait for coupe of mins before a table got vacant. I picked stuff on my plate and sat with my laptop working. Something that i was eating was not tasting ok. I went back to the buffet spread to recheck what was it that i was not finding ok. TARRIEN CANAPE marked as vegetarian was something which i culd not understand and i asked the person in the lounge. He very casually responded that Tarrien was a type of fish that was being served. I was horrified to hear this!!!! Fish which was marked as vegetarian and i consumed it. Simply Appaling! I am sure there would be many more who consumed without realising what they were eating. I was spitting fire but did not want to create a scene in a packed lounge. Angry, i left the lounge. This is an extremely sensitive issue which the hotel has been very careless about because such mistakes do not happen even by mistake. November 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by My Vacation In Sheraton Pickup and check in was marvelous. We stayed in 6th floor executive club. Room was good and view of Qutub Minar made it even better. In my mind aroma and delicious food of 'restaurant Dakshin' is still floating. My son was amazed after receiving surprise cake and special attention from the staff. Although check out was not as warm as the check in. We had to carry our heavy luggage from room to reception lobby ourselves. We are looking forward to stay in this hotel again. March 30, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst Sheraton This is the worst Sheraton I have even been around the world. The room is smelly, furniture are aged, breakfast is terrible and go on. The shopping mall behind the hotel is the only advantage. For the room rate they charge, simply go somewhere else. November 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Stay! The hotel was one of the top three starwood locations I have stayed. February 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Pick This hotel is not the most modern or highest in New Dehli, but it is a great pick for a family. The rooms are very clean and in good condition. The furniture and rooms are made of high quality materials and the location is within a 1 minute walk of two modern shopping malls. This hotel was a great value and provided a driver and tour guide for our stay. The restaurants are also nice and we got access to the executive club, which was a very nice feature.
