Rated 5 out of 5 by I Love St Regis Bangkok I recently completed my third stay at the St Regis Bangkok. I love the hotel, it's that simple. I would highly recommend that you book the St Regis during low season - when prices are reasonable - so that you can enjoy luxury. The restaurants are all amazing - but very expensive. Worth a treat for sure. I really loved Zuma. The spa is potentially the highest priced spa I've ever been to in Bangkok and I would recommend that you visit another local spa based on price and service. The pool is really amazing. High atop the city you can lounge and relax while being pampered. I loved the couches - they were a great place to relax and read. I will surely be back to the St Regis and I highly recommend it. Rated 4 out of 5 by The cleaning can improve There is a fly in my room. So it is a bit annoying . There are ants walking around the buffet breakfast sushi table. Saw them two mornings. One of the mornings I think the staff clean them up after. May 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just Love St. Regis Bangkok! I've just had my short break with my family and friends in Bangkok to celebrate the Songkran (Thai New Year), and it proved I have made a smart decision to choose St. Regis again especially some of my friends are first time vistior to Bangkok. For myself, this is the 2nd time staying in St. Regis Bangkok after my first stay last year. I have been staying with quite a few of St. Regis in other countries before, and in comparing to the other St. Regis hotels, St. Regis Bangkok may not as good as the others in term of hardware such as in-room technology...etc. However, St. Regis Bangkok totally win my heart among all other St. Regis due to the "service" which I am most expecting from a luxury hotel. You won't understand how warm it is when you see a welcome card (with not just a sentence but a long hand written message!) from the Chief Butler (sorry I can't mention the name here due to the SPG policy) with her beautiful hand writing, when you get in to your room, even though this is only our 2nd stay here. Then our personal butler (sorry again I can't mention the name here due to the SPG policy) came in to our room on 21st floor shortly to introduce herself and requested if any assistance plus serving us the complimentary cookies & drinks which is one of the unique service that St. Regis is offering to the hotel guests. Our butler is very professional with the typical nice Thai smiles always on her face, and in fact she is the same butler servicing us during our first stay last year. So when we met her again, my cousin and I were so excited (but she didn't recognized us until we told her, hahaa). We felt so happy on the day of Songkran as when we ordered our morning coffee, our butler had delivered us not only the coffee, but also 2 water guns as Thai New Year gift! We first thought this might be a gift from hotel to every hotel guest, but later on we learnt from our friend staying in the other room that the gift was bought by the butler herself and not from hotel, as our friend tried to ask for the same after seeing our water guns. Unexpectedly, our friends received also the water guns gift from the butler the next day too! This is so touched if the water guns are really purchased by the butler's own pocket, and it just gave me a feeling that we are being treated not just as a hotel guest, but a friend! Thank you very much to our butler!!! Besides the ourstanding butler service which is one of the signature of St. Regis, all other staffs from concierge, reception, lobby staffs......etc in St. Regis Bangkok are all well-trained, polite, and professional. And this high level of service standard is not easily seen in other hotels nor other St. Regis hotels. I am not going to mention in details about other nice things of St. Regis Bangkok such as hotel's good location with direct connection to the BTS station, walking distance to the Four Face Budda and some main shopping malls, or it's wonderful breakfast serving until 11am....etc. You can see the details from the previous comments by other travellers. The only issue I have is, as a regular gym goer, the gym in St. Regis Bangkok is comparatively small so it may be crowded some of the times, and I hope it could be more well equipped. Some of my friends also have comments that the swimming pool is small to them and the butler service hotline sometimes may take too long to get thru. Overall, it's an amazing stay, and I can really experience and understand what "St. Regis" is by staying in St. Regis Bangkok, and I love the wonderful and delegated team in St. Regis Bangkok. No doubt the hotel management is doing a good job! Highly recommend St. Regis Bangkok and I look forward to my next stay with the hotel soon. April 25, 2013
