Rated 5 out of 5 by Elegant hotel, great location This elegant hotel is conveniently located on a wonderful beach and, at the same time, is very close to the city centre. Large rooms and very confortable salle de bâine, terrace with view. Very rich breakfast buffet. Goods restaurants in the hotel. I would like to be back soon! July 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent stay at a fantastic hotel St Regis is a great hotel with excellent service. From the rooms to the F&B - everything is fantastic. Would recommend the property to anyone travelling to Abu Dhabi. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Staff are very helpful. What more could you ask for when you decide to get away?? Rated 5 out of 5 by Abu Dhabi-St Regis A fantastic hotel This was our first visit to Abu Dhabi although we have visited Dubai three times and Oman twice. We thought we knew what it would be like in the area but the holiday exceeded our expectations. The St Regis is a superb hotel, with very kind, efficient and helpful staff. Our room was very good and the Butler service provided was outstanding. The restaurants were fantastic and the choice and quality of food were wonderful. Restaurant staff were outstanding in their attitude and the service was brilliant. All the staff were kind, helpful and efficient. It is a hotel that is first class in every sense. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and certainly found it to be the best hotel we have stayed in. We have travelled the world so can make this judgement. Rated 3 out of 5 by not at all a st regis experience I arrived to the hotel at 6pm sharp. All 3 rooms that I booked WERE NOT READY. Had to wait till 7.15 to go to 2 rooms and 8.30 for the last room. The rooms did not have any shampoo and had to ask them to get. Never saw the butler nor did anyone upon checking in told me about the butler. I always stay at the st.regis NYC and this was NO st.regis im used too. July 4, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pool Facility/relaxing Getaway was hoping that the Adult Pool was operating as we had to use the main pool and since it was meant to be a relaxing getaway we noticed a lot of kids and families around. some families consist of 7 - 8 kids and it gets noisy and loud. the same when it comes to the breakfast buffet, kids all over the place. also, some music at the pool would be ideal, lots of kids screaming and the sound of music would have helped. Also, realized that the life guards were very strict at the pool even with a family playing with the ball. the father was upset and requested to speak to the manager as he expected friendly atmosphere toward families at the pool. so it was not really defined whether it's adult/relaxing place at the pool or family oriented. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Hotel and Staff I recently stayed at the hotel over a extended period on a business trip. I want to thank everyone there as they made me feel welcomed everyday and made my stay that more enjoyable. This will be my choice for next trip without a doubt. June 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Holiday Perfection My wife and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the St Regis and were completely bowled over by the quality and presentation of what can only be described as a stunning hotel in an equally stunning location. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the friendly welcome and check in and the beautiful room (we were kindly upgraded to a seaview room the day after) and also the tremendous quality and themes of the bars and restaurants. We really could not find fault with anything. But a great hotel is all about the staff and I have to say Max that they are all now starting to gel as a team and really do have a "can do" attitude together with a smile. They all made our holiday special and if I may just say an extra thankyou to Emmanuel and Ruslan in the Manhattan lounge, Diyana and Candy in Olea and last but not least, Dami from the lifeguard team. Many thanks, well done and we look Forward to seeing you again very soon. June 27, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by poor service after stay killed the whole experience The stay at the hotel was awesome, the rooms ae clean and facilities are great. The beach and Asian restaurants are a let down in terms of service and menu. Seasoning was missing and the portions and speed of service are bettered in most KFCs. What really got my goat was that the hotel blocked my card 5 times. Errors can happen but what followed was nothing short of a disaster. the staff fail to respond to calls, become aggressive and rude if you have an objection. this is not what I expected and it has caused me great annoyance and irritation. it should not take numerous calls to get a human response. I have been fobbed of from speaking to the manager. the whole experience has put me of from the St Regis completely. My hope is that this note is read and acted upon. June 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is so cosy This hotel is a very nice place due to its location even if it is not really easy to find by car. All the materials are luxurious and beautiful. The buffet of breakfast is copious and delicious. Just take care of the too numerous dirty towels on transat at beach and at swimming pool. Good food at Turqoiz. June 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another wonderful stay! What more can I say! This is my new favourite hotel. The staff could not be friendlier and more helpful the resort is gorgeous, well woth a visit! June 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing stay We spent the weekend overthere to relax and enjoy the last days of acceptable weather. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to go again. June 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the best I have stayed at the top hotels in Abu Dhabi. The St Regis is in the top two. Except for lack of communication between the porter and the front desk, all went beautifully. I would 100% recommend this hotel again and again for value for money, luxury and high level of service. For the Westerner travelling abroad, service and affordable luxury is paramount and the St Regis is the perfect combination of those requirements. June 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointment My family and I stayed at this hotel last year and was very happy with everything hence we decided to come back again. However this time not only were we disappoint we were also frustrated by the service of the hotel. From checking in till finally settling in our room, we were made to wait for what seems to be the longest time. There was no system as to how the crowd checking in s handled and we were basically left to wait. Then someone came to get our ID and baggage tag and told us to wait, which we did for another 20 mins. Finally we were approached after I questioned the front desk 4 times where our cards were. We arrived at the hotel at 3 pm and got into our room at around3.40pm. We then waited for our bags which never arrived even after several calls to our room assuring us they were on the way. My husband had to go to the concierge only to be told they could not find our bags! After all calls and telecon with Mr Henry, we got our bags at 4.45pm. I find this totally unacceptable and disappointing. The mess up could have been resolved had the been more awareness but the staff seemed to be so focused on chatting that we were left unattended. We have two toddlers who were not only hungry and impatient to get out to the pool but we were unable to proceed with our day due to the unnecessary delay. Although we were kindly offered complimentary dinner that first night, the first start of our weekend vacation was marred by our receipt and lack of attention on arrival. Would we return or recommend the hotel further? I personally would not say much or rather could not say much especially after the disappointing welcome we had. For the price one is paying to stay there, the service level is also expected to be respectively due. June 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Hotel but lacking service attitude In short, I stay at least twice a month in hotels between UAE and Europe. The hotel is just amazing and a venue for comfort..however the experience with service started right from the arrival..39 minutes to check in while there was no one around, It was only me at the desk; and another 30 minutes to get the luggage to room after 3 calls to concierge. Overall, staff in lobby, in pool area, all around seemed so cold and did not find a welcoming ambience, I felt things are loose. Sorry. but this my honest feedback. Hope you improve, the hotel is really well done! June 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by fully satisfied with the stay! It was one of the best unforgettable stay in St Regis.. very royal outlook with intricate and impeccable designs. . Staff were humbly welcoming. . Food was great too.It was a beautiful palatial hotel when viewed from the beach. ..Only feedback is the spa..massage choosing same price as one night stay! Overall love it and will definitely come back again June 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our 4th Visit to St. Regis Saadiyat It's always a pleasure to arrive at the St. Regis Saadiyat. This time it was for two overnights to celebrate my husband's birthday. We are SPG members and the staff are very diligent about trying their very best to accomodate the preferences given in our customer profile. I cannot praise the staff enough for making our stay very comfortable and taking such very good care of us. I would like to raise two points. The hotel had 700 guests staying the night of 6th June. Finding a table (even for 2) at Olea next morning (7th June) for breakfast was rather a slow process. I believe the maximum seating capacity inside for Olea is 190 persons. And inside was where most people wanted their table. By 9:30 am, when we arrived at Olea the length of the queue of guests waiting for an inside table was a bit off putting. There was still a sizeable queue waiting as we left. Next morning 8th June, 55 and 5th had been opened to relieve some of the overflow at Olea. We chose to have breakfast at 55 & 5th, however we were completely surrounded by tables occupied by families with very young children. By the time we left, the restaurant looked as if it had been hit by a tornado. Is there any way Management can set aside an adults only breakfast area when the hotel is 100% full. June 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beyond expectation Best hotel room service in UAE so far, staff are amazing and always helpful, the location and facilities are very convenient, the rooms are clean, well organized and the bathroom(s) are very comfortable and trendy!! June 9, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointment This was my 3rd visit to the hotel. The check in process was lengthy because we were put in rooms that didn't meet our specifications. we were given an upgrade though. Not all sea view rooms have a good view of the Gulf!. We booked 4 rooms, and the hotel put us in 3 different floors on different wings. We had to change elevators to reach each other. Tip: Make sure to request a certain room number when making the reservation. The checkout process was just as unpleasant because of mistakes in the bill. In my opinion, I don't think the staff is prepared to handle high seasons. June 9, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by A good product let down by poor service We'd always passed by St Regis on the way to another resort nearby but thought we would give it a try this time. We spent two nights over a long weekend. On the plus side, the food, while pricey, was of good quality. The breakfast buffet had good variety, while even a common item like a seafood pizza for dinner was very well made. The swimming pools were nice too, with quieter areas if you want to do a spot of lap swimming while still within sight of your young child. However, our overall experience was marred by appallingly poor service from start to finish. We drove in from Dubai, and when we pulled up in the driveway, there was no staff member to help unload the luggage, open car doors or offer valet parking. We stood around and waited until someone finally showed up. Then, our luggage was tagged awaiting transfer to our room but 15 minutes later after completing our paperwork, I spied our luggage still sitting on the edge of the driveway where they had been unloaded, totally unsupervised. Someone could easily have just taken something from our luggage. I had to tell the a staff member in the lobby to make sure the luggage was kept properly. While checking-in itself was relatively fuss-free, what happened for the next 1.5 hours was a nightmare. We arrived ar around 2.20pm and were told that our rooms would be ready by 3pm. Not a problem, I thought to myself, since check-in is at 3pm anyway. We were shown to a small lounge beside Olea restaurant and there were drinks and snacks. But 3pm came and went. My wife and I took turns to go upstairs back to reception to ask. I was first told another 5-10 minutes but nothing happened. Same thing for my wife. But the staff was really quite rude, at one point telling me "it's no use standing here, there's nothing I can do" when all I asked of her was to call the housekeeping and hurry them up. Anyway, we got to our room finally. It was pleasantly big. In the evening, I showered. Guess what? There must have been a choked pipe because after I finished my shower, the whole toilet area including the sinks outside the shower cubicle, was flooded. To make matters worse, without realising it was flooded, my daughter stepped into the area and promptly slipped and fell. Fortunately, she landed on her bottom, so no broken bones or anything. I called up the "Butler" service. An Engineering chap came pretty soon. But I had to call three times for a Housekeeping guy to come and mop up and dry up the whole area since it was not just the shower cubicle that was wet. Nobody came until 45 minutes later, and even then this staff member was actually the guy doing the evening turn-down service for every room. Needless to say, the poor chap was mighty surprised to see the state of the bathroom and had to get extra towels etc to clean and dry up the place. He had obviously not been told by Housekeeping to attend to this disaster, judging from the very surprised look on his face. Which begs the question of whether Housekeeping ever bothered to send someone specifically to deal with my situation. They probably thought the turndown chap was doing the rounds anyway and could deal with it. Whatever the case, it took a long time for the place to be cleaned up. And not a single word of apology from anyone, not even the so-called "Butler" for my floor. The next day, I called to ask for late check-out at 1pm, instead of noon. One would expect a one-hour extension shouldn't be all that difficult to deal with. But no, the lady told me such requests could only be confirmed on the day of check-out. At the very least, there could have been two better ways of dealing with my request : (a) say something like “thank you, we will try our very best to accommodate your request but we will most likely only be able to confirm it tomorrow”; and (b) we will put in your request and have someone call you back as soon as possible. Neither of these things happened. Needless to say, no one bothered to call me on the day of departure to tell me whether a 1pm check-out was possible. After I have put in a request, the onus should be on the hotel staff to call back and close the loop. This gives the unmistakable impression of a hotel whose staff almost excels at trying not to be helpful, staff who are merely ‘following the rules’, the guest be damned. On the next day, our day of departure, I needed to fetch my wife somewhere nearby in the morning for a 10am appointment. We went to the driveway at 0940hrs and handed over our ticket stub for the valet to bring in our car. But our car did not come till 0955hrs. This is a totally unacceptable delay and caused a huge amount of stress given our 10am appointment elsewhere. Worse, three other people who came after us got their cars before us. How can that be, when the car park is just downstairs? It is still a mystery why it took so very long for our car to arrive. Overall, this hotel has a good product to sell, but it was completely let down by incompetent staff from beginning to end. I appreciate that it’s a big hotel but one that claims to be a five-star hotel cannot allow such lapses and the staff need much better training. We won’t be going back any time soon, if ever. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional stay I recently had the good fortune to book into the St Regis Saadiyat Island. From the moment I entered the hotel to the time we left, I was made to feel welcome cared for and valued. The staff met my requests and needs (ie late check out) with no hassles My children found the facilities above and beyond expectations and the staff in the kids club were fantastic, friendly well trained and conscientious without being overbearing. My wife and Children were extremely sad to leave but happy that we will be coming back. June 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by My business Trip visit The hotel is very nice for cople or family visit, there are varaity of swemming pools, resturant, kids club is cool, breakfast is international. the hotel is luxury and rooms are clean. i really recomend it. June 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Jewel in Middle East Hotel is beautiful in architectural design and luxurious in accommodation. Beach area is very stony with some building debris washed up on shore but does not affect the hotels frontage unduly. Scenery is as good as anywhere in the world. Most of all the staff were very courteous and attentive and restaurants were very good. May 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by fantastic Hotel - the best we ever had! the rooms are fantastic, the bathrooms the nicest we have ever seen. The staff is verry friendly and the food was excellent!!! We can recommend this hotel. May 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Stay My wife and I went to visit the hotel for a long weekend and it was all fantastic. Porbably the only thing I was not very keen of was the lady at reception who did our check-in. She was very dry and did not want to concede on giving us a room with a better view. Apart from that all was fantastic regarding the hotel. PS: Some stones at the beach still need to be removed. May 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Location & Hotel The hotel and the room were excellent. The view was fantastic and the pools were perfectly designed. We ate at their steakhouse which had one of the best steaks we've had in a long time. The room was beautiful but had a few things missing such as lotion and tooth brushes. The tv volume was connected to the bathroom as well but there was no volume control for the bathroom as it was much louder in the bathroom than the room. Other than that I would definitely go back and stay there. May 28, 2013
