Normally it is the quality of food but this time I could not get on the preferred floor, sent to a room where there was someone in the room and then finally on the first floor :-( September 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Leisure Stay Usually, when I stay at this particular hotel in Memphis, I have a wonderful experience. However, this time my stay was not so great. I had to disclose an illness in order to get extra towels. The front desk clerk did not know if I was an SPG member or not. She also could not tell me if I could have a late check out of 1:00 pm - which I always get. In addition to those minor incidents, after having left my room at approximately 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2014, when I returned at approximately 10:15 pm, the door to my room had been left cracked/unlocked by the custodial staff. I was relieved to find that none of my personal belongings had been taken - but, they could have been. Needless to say, this was not the best weekend I've spent at The Four Points Sheraton Southwind. Please tell all staff to double check rooms to make sure they are locked before they exit the area. Thank you September 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Property BUT..... I stay at this property a couple times a month. I love the location and the property and my only CONSTANT complaint is the quality of food (room service). They ALWAYS seem to get my order wrong of the quality is that compared to a Waffle House. September 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Staff The staff at the Four points sheraton on Stansell in Memphis made my stay very enjoyable. My trip started off with my forgetting my drivers license and not being able to rent a car. The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the Fedex headqtrs for my meetings and anywhere else I wanted to go. I didn't have to wait long for them to arrive to pick me up after my meetings and I was on time every morning. Everyone of the staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. They really turn around what started off as a terrible trip. thank you !!! August 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel is welcoming, updated & in a good location Overall my stay was pleasant, relaxing and met my needs for a overnight resting place. Restaurant food and service was great! Staff was accommodating and friendly. Rooms were equipped appropriately. Staff offered personal touches to the room that put a smile on my face after a long day in Memphis. I will definitely stay with them again. Actually I've already made reservations from my next trip in a few weeks. August 25, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Paperless billing = no accountability do not stay here. They claim they have "paperless" billing and cannot offer a copy of the folio even electronically, which seems ironic. This makes it really hard to expense anything for business travelers. August 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable Beds & Clean Room! It was a nice surprise. It seems here lately, I have been continuously disappointed in hotel rooms, but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The room was exceptionally clean, the beds were dressed in white sheets, white comforters and each bed had four pillows. I slept great! The staff were attentive when needed. The breakfast is not complimentary, but can be included in an online deal. The breakfast was good. It included sausage gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, grits, bacon & sausage, muffins, waffles, cereals, fruit, juices, milk and coffee. Plenty to eat. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to experience the pool / whirlpool. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again. August 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not close to the airport This hotel was not as close to the airport as we thought, about 25 minutes away. Although they offer a courtesy shuttle, because there is only one it can take awhile for it to be available. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.
