- The front desk: Excellent service
- The room: very clean and well furnished
- The fiteness center: Very good. The young guy at the reception of the fitness center is not as professional as one might expect in Sheraton hotels.
- Restaurant: The breakfast taken at 10:00 am is really not good. If you serve the breakfast from 6 to 10:30, it should be perfect during the whole period. This may be easilly improved.

The Doha Sheraton offers a good stay; rooms are spacious and practical, and the balcony is very nice and convenient. I had a room with sea-view, which is great; you can see the sun rise if you get up early enough. Points of attention: Internet is a bit awkward and the bathroom showed signs of wear.
Somehow, although the hotel is big, the staff gives you the impression of 'knowing you'.

I stayed in R726. It has a nice rear view to the ocean/swimming pool. Unfortunately the door to the posh was locked and could not open to sit outside.
The linens were good, but I wasn't supplied by washing towels (the small ones) except for the first day. The bathrobe was too small for me,
Overall a nice place to stay.
Checking out was too too slow. took almost half hour just standing at the counter.

We stay at the Sheraton on most business trips to Doha. While I like and enjoy the accommodations , the wait at check in and check out is horribly unsatisfactory. I have never experienced a quick transaction. Instead we wait for 20 minutes or more. Yesterday I stood in line behind one person for almost 45 minutes before they brought out another cashier. It is very disappointing for a SPG property

I am a regular visitor to Sheraton Doha, almost on weekly basis for business trips. The least i can say it is a great experience every time i check in.
From the first worm welcome by the active and always smiling Laila at reception, to check out with the same warm smile; everything is just perfectly placed and professionally run for our comfort.

This hotel has large pleasant rooms with lots of light. However bathroom although spotlessly clean has to be modernised and WIFI which is supposed to be providedd free of charge to all rooms is difficult of access if it works at all !!! Room furniture has also somwhat dated... The most positive thing about this hotel is the staff... extremely helpful in all circumstances !!!!!

The hotel is in a great location for the West Bay area. Our room was great but the rest of the hotel is showing it's age (1982). The pool and outside areas are in need of refurbishment of broken tiles etc.
We ate mainly in the Latino restaurant which was very friendly. They had a great Colombian 3 piece band there in the evenings (for a 6 month booking I believe)

- no-one answer the phone when calling the hotel.

I have just spent my birthday weekend at the Sheraton. The room was great as were the flowers and cakes the hotel gave as surprises. My husband has an injury which requires the use of crutches and the staff were very kind in their attentiveness to him - not overdoing it, but recognising when he needed a bit of help. Thank for helping us have a great weekend.

The hotel is really grand in its appearance. The room allotted to me (310) was not making any comfortable, as it had steps inside, the view was spoiled with smoke being observed - probably from the kitchen, shower was not convenient. Staff were good though they can still improve, the food was good, the class was excellent for the quality of the hotel.

Despite the fact that this hotel is 30 years old, it is in wonderful condition. Five star luxury at its best. It has been maintained well. The staff are excellent - very friendly and any requests are dealt with expertly. The gardens are wonderfully relaxing, the pool area perfect and the beach a great place to be. We loved every aspect.

An older hotel in the West Bay area of Doha and perhaps the first of the 5 star hotels in the area. Great location and easy access to most parts of the city. Good restaurants and great lobby area. Breakfast buffet is well stocked with a wide variety of western and Arabic foods. A really happening Irish Pub in the lower level.
House keeping is not up to par with the rooms not being vaccummed daily and detail to cleaning around the corners and edges of the room / bathroom. Inconsistancy in the supply of towels. One day no hand towels and the next with.
Laundry - perhaps one of the most expensive hotel laundries I have ever used. Six days of basic laundry was almost as much as the room rate I was paying. I should note that I had mentioned it to a manager at check out and he reduced it by a token amount however still extremely high compared with other hotels in the area and the region. For example a pair of socks were 24 QAR (about $8 US). One could buy a new pair for that price.

The aspect in which this hotel stands out is its staff. I commend them very strongly for going out of their way to give excellent service. Even if you request something from a person who is not responsible for that task, they always take ownership of the problem and ensure it is resolved.

The room and overall property were very comfortable. I enjoyed the extensive and fully equipped health club facilities which were much better than many others I have used and particularly liked its extras such as the steam room. Overall a very pleasant stay during my first trip to Qatar.

Keeping in view of weather condition the health club location is not suitable for hotel guests.
As after a workout/sauna, its uncomfortable to move along the beach/open air.
The situation can be bad if sand storm/high wind is their and even worse in case of high humidity

Hotel is situated in a nice location with some great facilities. The food was excellent. The rooms are a little dated. This is the first Sheraton I have stayed in where i did not fell like an SPG platinum member, although I did get what I paid for.

I stay here often and haven't had a bad experience yet.
Only criticism is the hotel cars are very expensive compared to taxi's. Problem is there are very few taxi's and I think the Hotel takes advantage of the fact.
I now always rent a car.

the location is beach side, but with nothing within walking distance. health club is in a separate building, and excellent. Rooms are not soundproofed so aircraft sounds can be heard at all times. check in and checkout and painfully slow.

One of my favourite SPG Hotels.
The location is very good, the price was good.
I was upgraded to a suite on the 10th Floor on arrival. The Club room area is well managed and the food quality excellent. Service very good.

If you choose to take the green choice, they will leave you for 3 nights without cleaning the room, although it's written on the flyer that you can choose it daily?! but it seems they are applying it by there rules.

As always the Hotel is excellent but for the second time this year, they have taken ages to retrieve my Suitcase from the room on checkout. Happening at the end of the stay, it kind of spoils the overall experience.

Room not well mantained (light switches not functioning, bath scale out of order, sleepers not provided, newspaper not provided even if requested, table watch not functioning etc etc.
