Beautiful hotel. Our room had a fantastic picturesque view of the hotel pool, adjoining the hotel's private beach and the sea. I woke up each morning to the sun rising on this view - just speechless.
Service was excellent, staff were polite and went the extra mile to please.

I live in Doha since 1985 , I have attended hundreds of functions in hotel , lunch /dinner / new year party / Eid kids party / Egyptian community gathering / Canadian Function / Ramadan tend . Every where in hotel , Alhubara / Salwa Hall / Al Shaheen / Gym / squash / beach . . just name it . Moreover , dozens of Sheraton staff over 28 years are friends from top management to small staff . You can say it is like my second house . Nevertheless , it is my first time ever , I book for accommodation in hotel . All I can say now , it is Amazing Doha Sheraton. Thank you . . Hussam Shaaban

As my reservations were mixed up I did not have a room to stay on my first night . The hotel was fully booked except for the executive suites and despite being a gold SPG member, was requesting for exorbitant rate which was well beyond my budget. Although reception staff tried their best to reduce the rate of the room, the manager was not receptive or willing to help out. Also the hotel reception had no clue how to help me to find another hotel in the city and did not even provide a telephone directory to call other hotels. One individual employee who knew me from previous stays tried his best to help me, however as an organisation, the hotel had no sense of customer care or willingness to help a very regular client.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Sheraton Doha. I had stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past, and had been happy with it. But, this time they ignored my requests, did not care whether I am SPG member or not, my colleague who is not an spg member, was assigned a better room than me. My room was noisy being on 1st floor, and it needed a lot of improvement. At my behest they changed the safe, and the bed after I threatened to leave the hotel. I did not bother to complain about other defects, e.g. shaver point in bathroom which did not work most of the time.

Messrs Sheraton Doha ,
I was stunned at the amount of space available at this hotel more than any hotel I have stayed at across the globe .Usually ,hotels have a hard time finding the right space for their facilities ..here ,you are spoilt for choice .
Everything was great except that the Club lounge does not stand up to its name ..it needs a full revamp ,overhaul and relocation ...it seems the architect who designed the hotel was obsessed with stairs !
Great hotel facilities but in need of a more contemporary touch ...the fact of having to walk all that way from my room to thx health club was not very welcome but manageable .

I arrived at the hotel, took ages to check in and then went up to my room. I was so annoyed when the room keycard did not work and had to go back down to reception to get a replacement.

I stayed in Sheraton Doha with my wife for our wedding anniversary. Check in process was fast and front desk was really helpful. During reservation i told the guy about our anniversary and to Our surprise room was decorated with fresh rose petals, bouquet of fresh flowers and a cake for our wedding anniversary & most importantly it was from hotel not on our pocket. So its really a personal touch from Sheraton and i would like to thank you for this.
Regarding our room , we were in Junior Suite and it is fantastic, very roomy, nice furniture, spotlessly clean and views from the rooms were incredible. Club lounge access is free for junior suite occupant. Room service was efficient and food served in the room was nice.
Nice swimming pool, beach area and garden.
I will definitely coming back to Sheraton again.

The Doha Sheraton offers a good stay; rooms are spacious and practical, and the balcony is very nice and convenient. I had a room with sea-view, which is great; you can see the sun rise if you get up early enough. Points of attention: Internet is a bit awkward and the bathroom showed signs of wear.
Somehow, although the hotel is big, the staff gives you the impression of 'knowing you'.

Stayed here one night in September after a long flight from the US. Although a well kept property which is used by my company regularly, the rooms and Public spaces are way too musty and reek of cigarette smoke. Had to change hotels the next day due to severe allergy reactions. I must say that the management and staff were extremely helpful and understanding on my need to change hotels and tried to accommodate me in every way.

Arrived during Eid holiday, hotel appeared busy with guests but was told many staff had been given vacation ?
Spent 2 days at the beach and pool and could not get any food or drink service, again was told due to the fact many staff off on holiday.
Had a suite but had to close off and not use the living room due to foul smell from aircon, could only use the bedroom for my wife and children. Called and complained to Housekeeping twice and they came and spayed air freshener. Did not fix the problem. Told the staff on checkout about my experience and they apologised and said they would have done something if they had known about it ? Well I did call you twice.

Rated 4 out of 5 Ramadan retreat at the Sheraton
We booked just one night at the Sheraton during Ramadan. We were treated to to room with an excellent sea view across the bay in Doha on the 8th floor. The room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. The reservation included ree wi-fi and breakfast which was served in the roof top restaurant. Breakfast is a wonderful mixture of cold and cooked food; western and asian dishes as well as cereal and juices. The chef created one of the best omelette I have tasted! Ahmed on reception was extremely helpful on check in and polite and freindly when we checked out. Would recommend the hotel; it was extremely quiet around the hotel as it was Ramandan time.

Staff at the reception needs more training to receive and recognize guests with Starwood status. When I checked-in, although I was greeted with many smiles, but I was not acknowledged much less recognized as being the Platinum member. Nor was I offered any amenities that a Platinum member is entitled to. Later, when I spoke to Mr. Rauel, the Duty Manager, he acted very professionally and mitigated all my concerns – he really impressed me and made the rest of my stay very pleasant.

The overall service needs improvement. Staff needs to be more service oriented. Reception looks very dull, specially marbale walls around compters create distance between staff and guest. It gives an impression that the staff is trying to hide something.It is really frustrating to know that there is NO WIRELESS internet available IN THE ROOMS and it is available only thru cable. Modern days computers do not even have slots for cable networking. When I am on Business trips always try to finish reports and mails in the evening or night time. I went down in the lobby to use my computer. Not in the list of hotel for my next visit.

Living in Doha we decided to take advantage of the Eid break Offer and to stay at The Sheraton as a "Getaway". On arrival the staff were very welcoming and took our luggage to enable an easy check-in. On reaching our room we immediately felt like we were on holiday. The facilities at The Sheraton are excellent. Good coverage around the pool and beach areas. Good choice of restaurants (although Pirates Cove was limited if one didn't each fish). Wide variety of foods for Breakfast and easy and stream-less checkout. One negative point - the balconies, tables and chairs should be cleaned daily due to bird excrement and dust.

NICE HOTEL. WARM WELCOME DURING THE CHECK IN RECEPTIONIST (AHMED) WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE. ONLY HAD AN ISSUE WHEN I WAS TRYING TO ACCESS THE POOL BECAUSE MY OTHER COMPANION WAS ALREADY THERE WAITING FOR ME, THE ATTENDANT WAS RUDE SHE WAS INSITING THAT THE BOOKING FOR OUR 2 ROOMS WAS ONLY FOR 3 PERSONS BUT WHEN I CHECKED IN I SUBMITTED 4 PASSPORTS AND SHE KEEP ON TELLING ME TO GO TO THE RECEPTION AND SHE SAW THAT I WAS WEARING PAJAMA'S AND ACTUALLY I DONT HAVE PLAN TO SWIM WE JUST WANNA HAVE OUR BREAKFAST BY THE POOL SIDE. WE END UP GOING TO THE RECEPTION. AND IN THE RECEPTION I WAS ASSISTED BY NICE RECEPTIONIST WHO CHECK ME OUT MS. ABSALON IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN.

There is something about the hotel, it is probably something as simple as the scale of it internally that makes it a pleasure to visit and its physical presence architecturally. Staff great, facilities great, location terrific. Some of the menus were uninspired but the staff were very helpful in modifying the menu to give us what we wanted. My only criticism is that the shower cubicle could have been cleaner with a build up of scale and dirt between the marble tiles, but that really is a minor thing in the overall.
The world is full great hotels but there's something wonderful about being at the Sheraton Doha.

When i arrived my room was not ready even though i booked for the late arrival that night and i paid for the same full night and the reception person told me in my face sorry i gave your room to some one else already he keep me waiting and the he upgraded me to another one which was in-front of the construction, people are less knowledgeable about the quality of service they have to give in a 5 start hotel practically to a loyal SPG customer, more than once i ask them if a car if ready for me to my meeting and they say says and still when i go down i wait for more than 10 minuets ...etc

Although we have stayed in this hotel before, this review is for a wonderful evening in the restaurant. We were given a complimentary extended greeting to come to Latino Restaurant in celebration of Colombian food and culture. Upon arrival, we were heartily greeted by a very professional and pleasant staff. Wine at the bar was fantastic and served at appropriate temperatures. The restaurant is carefully laid-out with AMPLE seating for non-smoking customers such as myself to be seated as far away as possible from smoking guests.
The food served was a wide variety of Colombian-exclusive dishes, complete with spices and cooking methods that are unique to Colombia. Patrons to this restaurant in the future will have the opportunity to benefit from the shared knowledge and experience of the Colombian chefs who came to make this event special.
When in Doha, please accept my recommendation to stay in this hotel, or if you are wanting Latino-flavoured food, please look no further than the Sheraton. The quality and selection available in the buffet or a la carte is worth the price you pay and with excellent service, it will create an evening you will not soon forget.
