My wife and I, along with my buddy and his wife were both on our honeymoon in Italy and Greece and chose to stay at this property when we were in Milan. Beautiful historic property, great welcome and friendly staff... but on the second night just past 11 we were waken up by a call from the front desk, and was told that the previous guest might've left a suit in the closet and wanted to come in and check. 1. we have been in that room for 2 nights, if the suit were indeed in the closet, that would've meant the housekeeping staff wasn't doing what they were supposed to do. 2. I don't know how they train their staff there, but I just so happen to be a hotel general manager myself and have managed several 5 star hotels in Asia. Calling a guest at that time of the hour with a ridiculous story like that just doesn't seem right. The next morning my buddy checked out for both our rooms because he came down earlier, but told our room had a 19euro Internet access charge. It made no sense, because our room overlooked the garden which can access the free Wifi from inside our room, instead of signing up for the paid service. My buddy said the front desk refused to waive the charge; unfortunately we were already running late for our train and the front desk had a huge line of people waiting to check out. Not about the money, but the situation could've been handled differently which probably would've made our honeymoon stay in Milan a bit better.

Stayed in the Junior Suite. Room is large and airy with huge windows and good view of the garden. Large Bathroom.
Gym facilities was available even though it was small and limited equipment. Open 24 hours is a plus.
The restaurant area and bar area was beautifully decorated. Great ambiance, chic decorations, wonderful and engaging staff. Had fun being engaged by the crew in the restaurant during breakfast.
Wonderful concierge and receptionist. Fruit platter was given as it was my birthday. Vert thoughtful.
Near shopping area and metro which makes it convenient to see the town. Plenty of restaurant around the hotel to eat out.
Recommended to stay at Sheraton Diana when you are in Milan anytime.
Very Very satisfied and wonderful memorable stay.

The Sheraton Diana majestic is really well located, close to multiple public transport stops and within easy reach to all the places that counts in Milan. But the place where you want to be is the hotel bar, which after 7 pm turns out to be the best bar/lounge for al fresco drinks and "aperitivo" in Milan. Mind you, "aperitivo" means anything from a cocktail to a full delicious dinner. Throw in some really trendy lounge music and cool design furniture and you get the picture. The bar has a beautiful garden which you can enjoy during breakfast as well.
I happened to stay in the smallest room at the hotel. It was a single room booked on a very favorable fare. The staff apologized for not giving me an platinum upgrade, but the hotel was fully booked. The room was more than enough for my needs - and the bathroom, almost the same size as the sleeping room, more than compensated for the lack of space in the room.
I found the staff at the hotel extremely helpful, friendly and kind. Breakfast is a joy if you take it in the garden. The buffet is not huge but it has all you may need - hot and cold basics, and if you need anything else there are always plenty of staff at service.
There isn't a proper restaurant but the "aperitivo" doubles as a dinner, and you can order a wide range of foods with your drinks till 11 pm.
The gym is small but well equipped, a refreshing sight for an Italian hotel.
This is an true majestic hotel in
Milan, where the friendliness of the staff and the coolness of the bar make it a destination for locals and tourists as well.
My only advice is to make sure you get a large room if space is important for you, or if you stay as a couple. The hotel bears its history with it, so "single rooms" are really minimal. But apart from that, it's become one of my favorites in Milan!

Definitely worth having a cocktail and snack in the bar in the evening.

This hotel needs an urgent refresh. Rooms are old, bathrooms are even older, and romms facing the street are incredibly noisy. Unacceptable.
