Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel needs work to live up to the Starwood standard I both stayed and worked at this hotel for 9 days in September. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough (though my door was not completely secure as it didn't close properly - I addressed this with staff though it never did get fixed). Which brings me to the major issue for me - service. Having stayed at other Starwood properties I come to expect a certain level of service. The service at this hotel fell decidedly short. Though some staff, particularly those in the main restaurant for nightly meals , were very attentive and service oriented, the majority were not. They were aloof at best and acted as though they were doing you a favour by answering your questions, unsmiling. These things taken together suggest to me that this hotel gets by on volume, rather than service as the determinant of success. Given that we were a large group both working and sleeping at this hotel, I was very disappointed in the level of service we received. Things such as wifi - which should be free in my humble opinion in 2016 - were difficult to obtain. Meeting facilities were fine - but the devil is in the details: tablecloths that were stained, dead bugs on the floor, detracted somewhat from the overall experience. As a bit of an aside but a major sticking point for me, the chain touts its green practices, such as encouraging guests to reuse linens and towels. Yet, EVERY SINGLE cup available for room use and meeting room use was an individually wrapped plastic cup. Can I please humbly suggest that you revisit this practice, in the name of more sustainable, environmentally-friendly ones? The food was good, though given the long working days we had, we needed to rely more often than not on room service. Room service staff were pleasant and courteous though difficult to reach - on a few occasions when I called they told me they would need to call me back - which sometimes happened and sometimes didn't. We worked long hours every day - all of these hours spent in the hotel. I expect that as both a guest of the hotel and a business client, that the hotel would make every attempt to ensure that my needs were met. I don't feel that was the case at this hotel on this trip. I expect more from the Sheraton brand and the Sheraton staff. October 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sheraton Parco De' Medici Rome Hotel This Sheraton is very deceptive. We had booked 3 rooms. 2 Rooms booked by me a Gold member and 1 by my cousin an SPG platinum member. When we reached the location there were 3 sheratons all operating under the same name. When we approached one of the sheratons we were asked to go to Sheraton 2 where all our rooms were supposed to exist. Upon arrival we were told that only 2 of the rooms were at this hotel. This happened even after I had called the hotel as well as let them know during booking thats we wanted all 2 room close by. After almost 1 hour of wait when we go to final sheraton where all our rooms were given we saw a lizard right upon entry and requested for a room change. The SPG help desk mentioned that this is common and was un -apologetic. Also we were denied the benefits that other SPG gold members get offered as standard. This has been the worst stay ever. If you plan to make an holiday never go this Hotel where nobody takes care of the room you get for instance 2 persons cannot share the same wardrobe for one person so we left our baggage’s locked for the whole week I spent. All the rooms in Building 2 are really nasty . The swimming pool is 1.20 meter so it’s a paradise for kids but not for adults. The television in the room is a must in any 4 stars Hotel (which this Hotel is not) ; the answer I got for the Management “ We have free television in the room and Sky and Premium in the lobby “ is an insult you cannot seriously reply this way . When I heard the internet is 11 euro to be payed of course I used my personal Wi-Fi, again this Hotel is not a 4 stars, Wi-Fi should be free and stable (which is not) . What you don’t get in this hotel is a menu of the restaurant in the room so you will never know in advance what will cost you if you try it, btw it’s ok for me when your guests enjoy ‘cappuccino’ at night this is disgusting. I am also considering leaving SPG program because of the answers I got from the Manager. I am not obliged from my company to book my 4 nights a week in SPG hotels, the contrary the other 4 stars hotel chain where I will spend my days is costing less (-20% ) so there is no coming back. Rated 3 out of 5 by when in rome.. ...stay in the other Sheraton in Rome as Medici is inferior hotel. The pool area in Medici is bigger and nicer and the pool staff there is very helpful so points for that. But the lack of lounge, decent restaurant menu and amazingly, even though the hotel is nearby airport, lack of airport and city shuttle service (= only 2 departure times from the airport to hotel and no service from hotel to airport during high season !) makes this hotel not worth of stay. I also stayed in in the other Sheraton during my same trip and will choose that 10 times out of 10 in the future. Note that regular taxi drive to and from the airport is fixed 35€ so you are better off using Uber. August 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel close to airport and quick service to the heart of the city The Hotel was a great place to stay with the family. It had a superb pool for the kids to enjoy and great food in the restaurants. The shuttle service was quite handy to get in and out of the City of Rome. Would definitely stay there again next time my family visits! August 2, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by unacceptable the staff shows no interest in the guests. Neither upon arrival, not at departure there was a help with the luggage. Meanwhile staff is at the door and looks at the private phones. The same in the bar. Only on 3rd request, a waiter came to place an order. The breakfast buffet is absolutely unacceptable - again the staff in the Restaurant should be trained in customer service as well. October 23, 2015
