Commissions are paid to retail travel agencies for consumed bookings in most
retail rate categories, including Rack, Corporate, Brand experience packages,
Best Available, Weekend, AAA, and Retired Persons. Commissions are paid on room
rates, included package components where specified and exclude taxes and
Commissions are not paid on net rates, which generally include Groups, Government, and Travel Industry Rates.

Worldwide Payment Systems (WPS), providing our travel partners commission
consolidation from all Starwood brands (Aloft, Element, Four Points, Le
Meridien, Sheraton, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W and Westin). Starwood
has partnership with WPS, an industry leader in commission processing that
provides travel agents with consolidated payments that will help them optimize
their costs and have better control of their commission payments.
90% of Starwood hotels have transitioned to StarCom and process their payments via WPS. This collaboration will provide you with:
