Authentic Cantonese and Sichuan cooking and impeccable service are the focus at Ming Xuan, a splendid restaurant devoted to exceptional moments. As the light and mood of the Yacht Club and Marina shift outside the windows, the interior of the restaurant changes, too. The unique design embraces the idea of traditional pillars and round tables, with individual, oversized square “lanterns” above each table, but the feel is contemporary, sleek and spacious, with cherry wood accents and warm golden hues and a polished marble floor. In addition to a main dining room, guests may also dine in three private rooms, each seating ten people.
Signature dishes include chilled foie gras with Hainan chilli jelly; poached Wen Chang chicken; Australian, local, and baby lobster or roe crab in a variety of preparations, including steamed with garlic and vermicelli or baked with consommé and Parmesan cheese.
