Langkawi has a rich diversity of ecosystems and habitat types, including lowland broadleaf rainforest, mangrove forest, reed beds, rice paddies, orchards, scrublands, and mudflats. This corresponds to a rich diversity in birdlife on the island. More than 220 species of birds have been recorded on the island, with approximately 30 percent being migratory. All tours start early for the best opportunities to observe them and to avoid the heat of the tropical sun. We adhere to the Birdlife International Guidelines for Best Practices on Bird Tourism for this tour. This activity is chargeable.
