Drawing on locally sourced materials like granite and teak, the resort embraces a sophisticated aesthetic that feels true to its surroundings and the island’s cultural heritage. Thatched roofs top the individual buildings, while paved stone pathways wind through the beautifully landscaped grounds and its labyrinth of fountains. Frangipani, lotus and orchids bloom in a riot of colors both in the wild and all throughout the resort. At night the grounds are transformed into a dreamscape of flickering light, as torches and candles cast their glow over the lobby and the lovely open-air restaurants and bars. Situated along the beachfront of the bay of Beau Vallon, the resort enjoys unspoiled views of the Indian Ocean and the most spectacular sunsets in the Seychelles.
