The resort boasts 180,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, where unforgettable events and game-changing meetings can be held amid the striking natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Our modern conference center's 29 flexible function rooms, from small breakout venues to expansive ballrooms, all feature natural hues and Native American motifs, including authentic artwork and designs of the Pima and Maricopa tribes.
The two main ballrooms, Akimel and Komatke, can both accommodate over 1,000 guests theater-style and are each divisible into smaller venues. Both also offer adjacent pre-function areas, ideal for welcome receptions or cocktails. Pipai Kave Ballroom, hosting just over 500 theater-style, is perfect for slightly smaller gatherings.
With nineteen breakout rooms, any meeting configuration is possible. Two of these rooms offer windows with views, while seven boast walk-out patios for a relaxing afternoon break or reception in the Arizona sun. For an inspiring event set against the beautiful ochre and sage palette of the desert, hold your event in the ample shaded area of the Akimel Lawn and Patio, adjacent to the scenic Gila River. Estrella Sunset Point—overlooking the river and golf courses as well as the mountain range—offers the perfect vantage for spectacular sunset views. Our uncovered outdoor space can accommodate events ranging from intimate dinners of 20 guests up to large events for as many as 1,000.
