Hotel Building Closure
Beginning September 27, 2015, the main hotel will be closed for guest room refurbishment. During this time, the lodges will remain available. Additionally, the restaurants will be closed; however, the Clubhouse, Turnberry Performance Academy, and the Kintyre Course will be available for lodge guests. Ailsa Course Closure: September 28, 2015 - June 2016
Beginning September 28, 2015, the Ailsa Championship Course will be closed as part of the ongoing resort renovation. It is scheduled to reopen in June 2016. During this closure, both the Kintyre Course and Arran Course will remain available. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Disability Accessible Policy
The resort has two disabled accessible guest rooms with an alarm pull chord, leveled shower and toilet. Various accessible options, such as wheelchair rentals can be accommodated upon request. All public areas are accessible for disabled via lifts and hotel shuttles are available to transport guests to the clubhouse.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.

Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date. Fees will be 100% of confirmed length of stay. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Early Arrival Policy
Check-in time is 3pm. While we are unable to guarantee early check-in; however, guests arriving prior to standard check-in time may use the resort facilities.
Extra Bedding Policy
A rollaway bed or crib is allowed in select rooms for a fee. Please refer to the Family Plan Policy for more information.
The hotel does not provide blankets, bumpers or pillows with the cribs. Guests must bring their own.
Family Plan Policy
Children under 3 years of age are accommodated free of charge.
There is an extra charge of 40 GBP for children aged 3 to 12 years old. This includes all meals* and drinks as well as playroom access**. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges. For additional information, please contact the hotel directly.
Children between 13 and 16 years of age are charged at GBP 40 per child per night. This includes a roll-away bed in the room and breakfast.

** Children between 3 and 12 years have access to our Wee Explorers playroom, a complimentary, unsupervised area. Qualified child-minding services from 16 GBP per hour can be arranged with our Concierge at least 24 hours in advance.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates can be purchased in denominations of GBP 10, 50 or 100. To purchase a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly.
We are pleased to accept gift certificates and will do our best to accommodate guest's requested dates for redemption. All guests are required to present a passport for identification upon check in.
We are delighted to welcome pets. We permit one dog (18kg/40lbs or less) per room and provide a dog bed for their comfort. Please contact the hotel in advance to take care of all necessary arrangements. In the interest of other guests, dogs are not permitted in the public areas and the owner accepts responsibility for the behavior of the dog.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
For third-party credit cards, an authorisation form provided by the resort must be filled in by the third party and sent by secure fax to the hotel. The resort accepts cheques only for advance deposits, which must be submitted 21 days in advance of arrival. For company billing, payment on departure applies unless credit has been prearranged through an application form.
Please note that smoking is not permitted in the hotel. There are designated smoking areas available. In the circumstance that a guest continues to smoke in a non-smoking area, after having received a verbal warning, a fee of GBP 250 will be charged.
