Hotel Closed for Renovations until June 26, 2016
Until June 26, 2016, the hotel is undergoing a phased renovation process. All accommodations, public areas, dining venues, and the conference center will be updated, and 76 new luxury suites, a state-of-the-art health spa, an Italian restaurant, and underground parking will be constructed.
The second phase of the renovation process commenced on November 2, 2015. During the closure period from November 2, 2015 until June 26, 2016, we invite our guests to stay at the Pine Cliffs Residence, a Luxury Collection Resort, which is also located on the premises and provides access to available facilities. Most guest rooms are entered through steps and are not accessible to guests who use wheelchairs. Three Deluxe Rooms are accessible via wheelchair, feature views of the resort’s entrance square, and cannot connect to other rooms. Please call the hotel directly to check for availability. Include comments on your reservation and await confirmation from the resort if a room is available.
The beach is not accessible by wheelchair, and guests may encounter some difficulties within resort grounds when using a wheelchair.

We are pleased to serve alcoholic beverages to guests over 18 years of age.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve and to check in to a room.. We request that minors be accompanied by an adult.
We regret that personal checks are not accepted as method of payment.
Connecting Room Policy
The Sheraton Algarve Hotel is pleased to offer 30 connecting rooms for your convenience. Please make your request as early as possible to ensure availability. If making your reservation online, please send an e-mail to email@example.com.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
The dress code throughout the hotel is beach resort. In restaurants, polo shirts or t-shirts are required.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee equal to 100% of the remaining stay applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Extra Bedding Policy
Guest rooms and suites cannot accommodate extra beds. Each Premium Grand Deluxe Room is equipped with a 1.2-meter sofa bed that is suitable for one adult or one child. Each Premium Junior Suite and Premium Duplex Suite offers a 1.6-meter sofa bed that is suitable for two children or one adult. The maximum occupancy of the Neptuno Suite is two.
Complimentary cribs are provided upon request in any room or suite, but are subject to availability. Due to health and safety concerns, the hotel does not provide blankets, bumpers, or pillows with our cribs. Guests must bring their own.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.
Children 4 to 12 years of age also receive a 50% discount on meals at the hotel's main buffet restaurant, Jardim Colonial. All other dining outlets offer a children’s menu.
Gift Certificate Policy
We are pleased to accept gift certificates and will do our best to accommodate guest's requested dates for redemption. However, requested dates will be subject to availability at the time of the reservation, unless otherwise stated on the gift certificate.

For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and/or proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
The maximum occupancy for most room types is three persons. Please contact the hotel directly if you have other specific needs.
While we greatly appreciate our guests' four-legged companions, the Sheraton Algarve Hotel does not accept pets at this time.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
A valid debit or credit card is required at check in and will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Restaurant Admittance Policy
Please note that children must be at least eight years old to dine in O Pescador restaurant.
Please note that the TABU by amo.te is a seasonal dining facility and has an age requirement of 12 years and older.
We regret any inconvenience.
The hotel is 100% non-smoking in all public areas and accommodations (including room balconies and terraces). This is based on EU and national legislation. Should guests fail to comply with this regulation, the hotel reserves its right to charge a 200 EUR cleaning fee. Please contact the resort for further information.
All non-local guests must present a valid passport. Some Western European countries or others outside the European Union require a visa for entry into Portugal. Please contact the Portuguese Embassy/Consulate in your local country for specific details before travelling.
