Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).

Check Cashing Policy

Check cashing services are available to guests who present the following major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa and American Express. There is a limit of $50 per stay for Mastercard and Visa. There is a limit of $100 per day or $250 per stay for American Express.

Connecting Room Policy

Connecting rooms are available but not guaranteed and need to be requested. Please contact the hotel directly to make these arrangements.

Early Departure Policy

In the summer season, there is an early departure fee in the amount of one night's room and tax. In the winter, late arrivals and early departures will forfeit 100% of the reservation.

Extra Bedding Policy

The Sheraton Steamboat Resort no longer offers rollaway beds.  The resort does not have any extra bedding to put into any of the hotel rooms or village inn condominiums.

Gift Certificate Policy

To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly.

Travel Insurance

All guests are urged to buy travel insurance for reservations during ski season. The resort does not make exceptions for weather related delays, unexpected illness or injury, unexpected work related obligations or other types of personal emergencies. Travel insurance is highly recommended for every reservation. The cost is 6.95% of the total reservation including tax.  Please contact the hotel for further information.

Package Handling Policy

There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.

Pet Policy

Please note that while pets (dogs only) are accepted in the main part of the resort, pets are not allowed in the Village Inn Condos or Villas. Maximum weight allowed is 80 pounds (combined). Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in the room at any time, even in a crate. Additionally, dogs are not allowed in the food and beverage areas, pool or golf course areas. Guest must sign a waiver at check-in. The resort reserves the right to charge fees if damages are incurred.

Please notify the hotel at the time of booking that you will be bringing a dog so we can review the policies to ensure the safety and comfort for you, your dog and all of our guests. Please contact the resort for more information.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Payment Policy

A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax and incidentals. If a guest is paying cash, a deposit equal to the room charge, tax and $75 per day will be collected at check-in.

Resort Charge Policy

The resort has a daily resort charge of $20 USD (plus tax) that includes the following: self parking in the underground parking garage, High Speed Internet Access in the guestroom, two bottles of water daily, toll free and local phone calls, scheduled shuttle service within the city limits, ski/snowboard storage (winter months) and bike/golf club storage (summer months).

Smoking Policy

Per statewide ordinance, smoking is not permitted in the resort or within 10 feet outside of the resort. Smoking is also not permitted on resort balconies. There is a $200 cleaning fee for any guest who smokes in a room or on a balcony.
