Children Age Requirement
We are pleased to accommodate families; however, children under 10 years of age are not permitted in the resort. Please contact the resort directly for more information.

Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older (with valid identification).
Check Policy
The resort does not accept personal checks as a form of payment or provide check cashing services.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms are not available.
Currency Exchange Policy
The resort will exchange the American Dollar and the British Pound currencies up to a limit of AED 3,680.
Dress Code
Casual wear is permitted for breakfast and lunch. Smart casual, no jeans or sandals, is required for dinner.
Early Departure Policy
Refunds will not be paid in the event of an early departure.
Early Arrival Policy
Early check-in is subject to availability and will be charged the Best Available Rate for the day.
Extra Bedding Policy
The resort does not offer extra beds.
Facility Use Policy
The use of the main pool and spa facilities (steam room, jacuzzi, sauna and gymnasium) is free of charge for inhouse resort guests.
Family Plan Policy
Children under 10 years of age are not allowed in the resort. Extra beds are not provided. Children above 10 years of age can only be accommodated in a separate Bedouin Suites unless the Royal Suite (4 person capacity), Emirates Suite (4 person capacity) or Presidential Suite (6 person capacity) is reserved.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift Certificates may be redeemed, subject to resort availability, if compliant with the validity and terms and conditions of the certificate.
ID Requirement
All room occupants must provide a valid Passport, national ID or UAE driving license upon check-in.
Late Checkout Policy
A late checkout of 6pm can be provided, subject to availability, for a charge of AED920 on a room only basis. A late checkout after 6pm will incur a full night's charge at the Best Available Rate of the day.
Ramadan Month Policy
During Ramadan Month, alcohol will only be served in public areas between 7pm and 1am daily. Also, there will be no meal services in the lobby or The Terrace Bar during the day. All other restaurant service times will remain unchanged.
Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed on the resort premises.
Termos sobre cartões de crédito e de débito
Os cartões de débito e crédito serão autorizados no valor da sua estada durante o check-in, além de uma quantia para cobrir despesas inesperadas. Payment Policy
Advance bookings require payment of a deposit equal to the charge for the first night's stay and will not be confirmed until receipt of such payment. The rate for the total stay must be guaranteed by credit card or paid in full before arrival. Such amounts may be forfeited in the event of cancellation, amendment or failure to check in on the specified date, in accordance with the terms and conditions.
Pool Policy
Resort pools do not have lifeguards. Use of the pools is at the swimmers own risk.
SPG Participation Disclaimer
All rooms at Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, Dubai are villas; therefore, Starpoint Award reservations must be booked at a higher Starpoint rate through your local customer contact center.
Smoking Policy
All indoor public areas are strictly non-smoking.
