Early Departure Policy
We are pleased to accommodate early departures upon request. An early departure fee may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date. Fees will be 100% of their confirmed length of stay. This penalty also applies to guests who do not arrive on their scheduled arrival date. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Family Plan Policy
During the months of May, June, July, August and September, additional charges for children will apply. Otherwise, children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges. For additional information, please contact the hotel directly.
The hotel requests that all guests present a valid passport at check-in.
Late Checkout Policy
We are pleased to accommodate late check-outs upon request. In the case of a late check-out before 3pm, an additional half day rate will apply. For check-outs after 3pm, an additional day rate will apply.
With the “Dinearound” program, when you stay at Hotel Cala di Volpe, Cervo Hotel, Costa Smeralda Resort, Hotel Pitrizza, or Hotel Romazzino on a full board basis, you can dine at any of the resort’s restaurants or at local restaurants: Il Pomodoro (year-round), Il Pescatore, the Grill and the Pevero Golf Club (seasonal). This flexible meal plan may be reserved as part of your room rate, or may be added as a supplement. Reservations should be made with the concierge of your hotel at least 24 hours in advance.
Please note the following:
- Reservations are upon availability of the restaurants only
- Limitation of one meal per person, per day (either lunch or dinner for guests in Full Board basis only)
- Beverages and transfers to/from the restaurants are not included
- Not all seasonal restaurants may be available during the off-season
- The minimum age for Dinearound at the Hotel Pitrizza is 5 years
While we greatly appreciate our guests' four-legged companions, the hotel does not accept pets at this time.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Reservations guaranteed with a form of payment at time of booking are held until 6pm on the day of arrival.
For reservations not guaranteed with a form of payment at time of booking, rooms are held until the set cancellation time per the rules of the reservation.
SPG Participation Disclaimer
Due to the unique nature of this property, SPG Award nights may only be booked through your local customer contact center.
Any Free Night Award nights for July and August are high season nights and include a standard room and mandatory full board. This requires a higher Starpoint cost to cover the mandatory full board. The Starpoint cost for 1 or 2 people is 140,000 Starpoints per night. The Starpoint cost for 3 people is 185,000 Starpoints per night.
On nights outside of July and August, full board is not included and a standard room is at 70,000 Starpoints per night.
Italian law requires that the hotel request a document at check-in which needs to be registered with the local police. Please verify with the local Italian embassy/consulate for information regarding visas.
