Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is so cosy This hotel is a very nice place due to its location even if it is not really easy to find by car. All the materials are luxurious and beautiful. The buffet of breakfast is copious and delicious. Just take care of the too numerous dirty towels on transat at beach and at swimming pool. Good food at Turqoiz. June 19, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bliss!!! I expected this hotel to be sensational and it certainly did not disappoint. I have never experienced such exemplary and extraordinary custmomer service anywhere else, other than from the hotel staff at the St. Regis. They are a credit to their employers. They go far and beyond to provide a unique and genuinely wonderful experience for all guests. I could not find fault in any way, shape or form, with this hotel. I am in awe of how they manage such a slick, fluid and professional operation and make it look so easy. My stay at the St. Regis was truly relaxing. It's the only holiday I've experienced where I didn't remember which day of the week it was. For me, this was an indicator of how chilled out and stress free I felt whilst staying here. The hotel itself, is luxury personified and totally breathtaking. I look forward to returning, in the near future, with my family. I just feel they're missing out if they don't get to experience what I did. Well done to all at the St. Regis. I will remember my stay forever...... August 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel stay This was our first stay at the hotel and were overall happy. The service was not great. The people who served us were lovely, but there were not enough of them in the hotel. Additionally, our TV was broken in our room and no one ever came up to fix it. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Hotel Took up offer of Brunch & Stay and would not hesitate to do so again. Food was excellent as was the accomodation and the best part was that we had until 4pm to check out which meant that we could have a VERY LONG leisurely breakfast. The staff very attentive but not overpowering. Extremely enjoyable stay. April 21, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cleanliness Pigeon droppings and feathers are disgusting on the balcony. The bathroom needs to be cleaned more thoroughly because the outside of the toilet and the sink was a lot of dirt. On my pillows were strange stains Otherwise everything was excellent September 12, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by The service was not up to par The facilities were lovely. The reception staff were just not on the ball. They could not impart correct information. As they are the first and last point of contact with the hotel that is all one remembers. The staff at Turquoiz were lovely and kudos to them for doing such a good job! May 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best hotel in Abu Dhabi It feels like you are in an island, not the desert. The beach is beautiful and has a great view. The water is clean, but since it's the summer season the water was warm and super salty.. But since there are enough cabanas around the pool, it was nice to relax and swim. Of course the exceptional service that you can only get in St.Regis is one of the best part as well. The room is very clean and bright. Especially the bathtub is awesome. It's big enough for two, and the butler prepares bubble bath for you if you request. I've tried Sontaya for dinner and the food and atmosphere is amazing. It's a must try. The techno gym had almost everything you need as well. Breakfast, delicious! especially the pastries. I've stayed for two nights and had such a good time. There was a small problem in the room, but Ms.Ko(guest relations) managed it right away which was quite impressive. Also, I would like to thank Mr.Tariq my butler who was very helpful during my stay. There is absolutely no down sides about this hotel and I can't wait to visit once again. August 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a great hotel This hotel makes you feel a million miles away even though you are just 10 mins. away from Abu Dhabi city and about 20mins. from the airport. The golf courses at Saadiyat and the nearby Yas Links are top notch courses and I will return frequently. Definitely a SPG favorite for me. May 23, 2012

The service and housekeeping level needs to be looked at, other than that it was a pleasure to stay there and the kids loved the facilities, definitely will visit again, and hope to see an improvement in service. Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing hotel - let down by poor restaurant staff. I booked the brunch and stay package for my husbands birthday as my sister and brother in law were visiting from the UK. This hotel is now by far my favourite in Abu Dhabi. I can not speak highly enough of the check in and out staff, quality of food and drink at Olea, Turquoise and Manhatten Bar, the incredible room and bathroom and pool and beach facilities. Service in Turquoise and Manhatten bar was outstanding from start to finish. It does however sadden me that a hotel of this calibre excepts the incredibly poor service that was shown in Olea during Friday brunch particularly but also Saturday morning breakfast. It appeared obvious to me and my party that there was no system in place where by certain wait staff are assigned a table to attend to for the duration of the meal. Having asked three different people and waiting over half an hour for a pot of tea my sister had to get up and speak to someone who looked of higher authority. This needs to be addressed St Regis as it's letting your wonderful hotel down. April 28, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Satisfaction An imposing structure waits those arriving for the first time with the hotel set at the front of a development comprisng residantial villas and apartments. The staff were extremely attentive to your needs, with special thanks to their renowned Butler Service., aeven though I had to reminder then once and Fiona on the front desk.. The Turquoise restaurant was my choosen dining option. The menu choice specialises in seafood but for those none seafood eaters a choice of meat is available. The menu wasn't too eay to read , size and colour of font to small and blended with the colour of paper. The restaurant manager assured that this is being dealt with the issue of a new menu shortly. My Cod was excellently cooked served with potato/pea mash was delightful. For those liking Cigars then the Manhattan Bar is the place. Quite and comfortable with an around great choice of wines, cocktaills etc awaits you. Overall the St Regis lives up to is name and provides excellent satisfaction whether its a weekend or longer stay. Thank you from an enjoyable time. August 18, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Place to stay! We only live 20 minutes away from the St Regis but we felt like we have gone away for the weekend! We stayed for one night only but checked in early and had a swim before enjoying the most lavish brunch in the city...The kids then had BLAST at the kids club and when they got too hot, spent time indoors playing on their favourite games stations (there were several to chose from). The staff at the kids club were really good with the children. On the whole we had a fantastic weekend, enjoyed a late check out and all the facilities... We wanted to eat at Sontaya but as we had not booked in advance, we could not get a table so we are planning to come back for a night out! We look forward to another weekend at the St Regis and our next guests in Abu Dhabi will be treated to brunch at Olea for sure! Oe of the butlers Julius looked after us really well. We found all the staff to be welcoming and always willing to help...they apologised profusely when I waited 15 minutes for the valet to bring my car from the car park. We will be back! May 22, 2012

The service was excellent, staff always ready to help and very quick in responding, Would highly recommend it March 10, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by From excellent to good Small details made St Regis Saadiyat Island EXCELLENT hotel and small details are bringing the overall quality down. - We got an email informing us that to upgrade our stay the cost was going to be 240 aed and when we arrived the cost was higher and even 2nd night was at 50% not applicable for the upgrade. - In our room the safe run out of battery and we needed to call to get it fixed, something that you don't expect in such a hotel - At the adults pools they don't serve water or refreshing towers anymore. On top there were some customers playing music with an iPad and we needed to complain twice for the management to request them to lower the volume. - We wanted to book diner in one of the restaurants and even we called twice (to main lobby and to concierge) we did not get any answer and we finally confirmed ourselves directly with the restaurant - Pool bar was out of stock of 2 of the 3 rose wine available and smoke salmon is not available in the breakfast menu anymore We have been there 4 times in the last year adn a half and even overall, was a pleasant experience definitely not as it used to be.
