Rated 4 out of 5 by Family-friendly resort with cheerful staff & nice facilities The resort has many, great, well-maintained facilities, with friendly, helpful staff. It would be fun for kids. Although the sea view is exciting, but the beach itself is not well-maintained as it's full of stones and algae's. Avoid booking during long public holidays, as somehow the facilities may get very crowded. August 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by October 2012 1 week stay The hotel and the island are beautiful. The ambience is calm and elegant throughout the hotel. We had high expectations of the Butler service but unfortunately this was the disappointing aspect of our stay. I would not rate this any higher than nornal expectations of housekeeping or room service at a hotel of this quality - certainly did not live up to what was advertised and promised. We were disappointed that upon arrival our bathroom was "missing" a number of expected items e.g. shower cap, sewing kit, body lotion etc. This is where our first experience of the Butler service came in. After reminder calls and a 7 or 8 minute wait they arrived. We found Olea an excellent facility not only for breakfast but for dinner too. The beach is very good, if not a little too "rocky", but does need to have showers to remove sand at the entry/exit point from the footpath and most importantly TOILETS closer than they are now [nearest is at one of the restaurants about 100 mtrs away]! Rated 4 out of 5 by Lunch Lunch around the pool was an absolute mess. There was a restaurant which closed at around 3. Which then used to serve bar food but the stopped. You could order from a very extensive pool menu, but there was no where to eat it. Basically I stopped having lunch the majority of days. so at least i saved some money. March 11, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is so cosy This hotel is a very nice place due to its location even if it is not really easy to find by car. All the materials are luxurious and beautiful. The buffet of breakfast is copious and delicious. Just take care of the too numerous dirty towels on transat at beach and at swimming pool. Good food at Turqoiz. June 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Hotel Took up offer of Brunch & Stay and would not hesitate to do so again. Food was excellent as was the accomodation and the best part was that we had until 4pm to check out which meant that we could have a VERY LONG leisurely breakfast. The staff very attentive but not overpowering. Extremely enjoyable stay. April 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel stay This was our first stay at the hotel and were overall happy. The service was not great. The people who served us were lovely, but there were not enough of them in the hotel. Additionally, our TV was broken in our room and no one ever came up to fix it. Rated 3 out of 5 by Was Expecting More The St. Regis Sadiyaat has two great assets, the service level of all their staff and the 55&5th restaurant. The food across all other outlets were mediocre and overly price. I will not be going back this hotel again unless absolutely necessary. Overall, the weekend was not worth the price we paid. The grown-up pool Was luxurious and cool The food and drink Kept me in the pink The room and bed Calmed my overloaded head Will I be back. That's a natural fact! ;) Thank you for and incredible time! Rated 4 out of 5 by Fab Resort The staff at the St Regis really make the difference, there are numerous nice properties in the region but to get consistent customer focus that delighted us each and every day stands out. Whilst some small areas could be improved upon we felt that we were the prime focus during our stay. October 20, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by The service was not up to par The facilities were lovely. The reception staff were just not on the ball. They could not impart correct information. As they are the first and last point of contact with the hotel that is all one remembers. The staff at Turquoiz were lovely and kudos to them for doing such a good job! May 22, 2013

I can not recommend this hotel highly enough as the service was second to none, and the staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome and make sure your needs are met. Rated 5 out of 5 by What a great hotel This hotel makes you feel a million miles away even though you are just 10 mins. away from Abu Dhabi city and about 20mins. from the airport. The golf courses at Saadiyat and the nearby Yas Links are top notch courses and I will return frequently. Definitely a SPG favorite for me. May 23, 2012

The service and housekeeping level needs to be looked at, other than that it was a pleasure to stay there and the kids loved the facilities, definitely will visit again, and hope to see an improvement in service. Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing hotel - let down by poor restaurant staff. I booked the brunch and stay package for my husbands birthday as my sister and brother in law were visiting from the UK. This hotel is now by far my favourite in Abu Dhabi. I can not speak highly enough of the check in and out staff, quality of food and drink at Olea, Turquoise and Manhatten Bar, the incredible room and bathroom and pool and beach facilities. Service in Turquoise and Manhatten bar was outstanding from start to finish. It does however sadden me that a hotel of this calibre excepts the incredibly poor service that was shown in Olea during Friday brunch particularly but also Saturday morning breakfast. It appeared obvious to me and my party that there was no system in place where by certain wait staff are assigned a table to attend to for the duration of the meal. Having asked three different people and waiting over half an hour for a pot of tea my sister had to get up and speak to someone who looked of higher authority. This needs to be addressed St Regis as it's letting your wonderful hotel down. April 28, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bliss!!! I expected this hotel to be sensational and it certainly did not disappoint. I have never experienced such exemplary and extraordinary custmomer service anywhere else, other than from the hotel staff at the St. Regis. They are a credit to their employers. They go far and beyond to provide a unique and genuinely wonderful experience for all guests. I could not find fault in any way, shape or form, with this hotel. I am in awe of how they manage such a slick, fluid and professional operation and make it look so easy. My stay at the St. Regis was truly relaxing. It's the only holiday I've experienced where I didn't remember which day of the week it was. For me, this was an indicator of how chilled out and stress free I felt whilst staying here. The hotel itself, is luxury personified and totally breathtaking. I look forward to returning, in the near future, with my family. I just feel they're missing out if they don't get to experience what I did. Well done to all at the St. Regis. I will remember my stay forever...... August 31, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Electrics were a shables we could not switch off A/C and told to open the door. The lights kept coming on intermittanly all night, at 4 am we called reception, told to make sure room card was in, the bathroom uplighter continued to come on and off for the rest of the night December 8, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good weekend getaway The rooms were spacious but not overly luxurious compared to other St Regis hotels I have stayed at. The guys at the beach are very attentive, friendly and eager to please. A good choice for a weekend stay. The beach is good and not too pebbly with very clear water. September 13, 2013
