Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Staff in the World! I want to thank the management of the Dameisha resort for training the best staff in the world. During our visit my young daughter fell ill with a fever and had to go to a local care facility. First Justin helped us by providing a thermometer and assuring us that he and his staff would be there for us. Then when we went to the facility staff member Bella joined us and took care of every little detail. She sat with my daughter for 4 hours and made sure she was ok. I will forever be grateful. Our family has a wonderful vocation experience, special thanks to Bohong Huang at the reception for the wonderful service and Monica Huang and Candy Wang at the executive lounge, they were very responsive and patient.They were the people who help make our experience at Sheration special. Rated 2 out of 5 by Lot to be improved I stayed here for 4 nights in June 2014. While this resort has one of the best views from the room and the restaurant, there was a lot to be desired from the staff members. There were a number of them who did not know/understand even basic english. Further, one of the days when we had dinner at the Feast restaurant, it took them almost half an hour to get any dish or drink that we ordered, even a basic vodka with sprite took them half an hour when we were the only guys at the restaurant and there were 4-6 waiters just roaming around. Our glasses were not filled with water on a timely basis, etc. Further, at the time of checkout, the person at the lobby did not understand English at all, so after struggling to make him understand that i was there to check out NOW for 5 minutes, he called the manager I was able to check out. Rated 4 out of 5 by My family comes to Dameisha Sharaton often To Whom it may concern - Sheraton Dameisha is a spot we visit many half dozen times a year or more. Living in Shenzhen it is always nice to get out of town for the weekend. The hotel has improved a lot in the 4 years we have been going, but still has a lot of room for improvement. Check-in was good, the staff was expecting us. Platinum SPG does mean something to them and they are always happy to see us. They were going to do some sort of welcome for our anneversary - but they did not do anything. It was OK I was not expecting much of anything. The Breakfast was good, Lunches were fine. Rafael, the Spanish gentleman helped us tremendously. We had a party of 25+ eating for the big Sunday Brunch and he was very helpful with tables and always working to see if there is anything at all he can help with. He is someone that Genuinely cares, which is rare in China or anywhere. The poolside food and drinks service was terrible - the waiter said he was busy and half the time forgot we ordered something, we would just be patiently waiting and reminding them. it was annoying. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was so slow. A simple dinner took over two hours and still they forgot our desert for 20+ minutes and we just had to cancel it. With two kids we just cannot wait all night for our food, so they were disappointed for that. Plus they make you walk all the way around the hotel just to get in the restaruant, which is unconvient, when the door is there and we could easily just go to our room elevators and up - it is just poorly planned whatever transition is going on with this restaurant. Pool was clean - kids love the pool. Oh - the SPG Platinum lounge was a joke. Open for a couple hours for happy hour and then nothing. No water, no coffee. I was going to have a few minutes of quite time and there is really nothing. they have some old cookies, and that was it. This area could really cater to Platinum travelers and go the extra mile. All I could tell is they wanted to save a few bucks by going cheap and having the bare minimum there - typical China style, I expected more at this area. then checking out was simple - the bell man I had to call down to request three times. No one ever came to get the bags for 30+ minutes. That was a simple thing that can be improved. So of course we will be back, there is really no place else to the go in the area - but hopefully some changes can be made to improve the hotel from my constructive critisim June 3, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by warmly welcome, big surprise, heartful thanks Thanks for the warmly welcome from the club lounge staff, thanks to Rita who help to reserve the big room for me & my family, and thanks to Cherry, Della, Baisy, Candy, and another handsome boy(sorry I forget the name, my bad), they prepared a nice/delicious cake to celebrate my younger brother's birthday, my family really enjoy the happiness & surprise which those excellent staffs bring to us. and the most lucky thing is that day is also the birthday for Della, we celebrate together, I hope they all enjoy. again, thank you all, you always make my stay perfect in Dameisha Sheraon. Rated 3 out of 5 by dirty room I stay at the hotel on December 23, at the front of the hotel, no porter to help me with the luggage, check to be soon, the results can not be used on the building cards, the most critical is to work until midnight, ready to rest, have found the bathtub unclean things, I feel very disappointed. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Loction The location of the hotel is awesome. It is about 5 minutes walking to Pier 39. And the room is clean but a little small. Staff is frendly. Paking is expensive, 50 per night for self parking. But any way, parking arould that area is expensive. Pool is good. and the seat with bonfire in front of the hotel is good. And it is so nice to give me 4 pm check out. Anyway, if you plan to travel to travel the Fisherman's Wharf. This is the first choice of SPG hotel. December 18, 2013

This is the first year that I am downgraded to Gold but the staff at this hotel (especially Jimmy) made me feel special. I especially grateful as this was my 12th years wedding anniversary and the whole hotel team made it special for my family. I am coming back in December again! November 25, 2013

A chef nicely prepares a small yet I think the most delicious cake in the world in 2 minutes. A warm touch to both my family and me. Among all those tier 1 hotels, Sheraton Dameisha is the best hotel I ever staying. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Resort Hotel Perfect location right at the beach and great swimming pool. Staffs are very friendly & professional in particular Ms Liu at the front desk, Raymond at the concierge, a gentleman at the downstair restaurant and many others. They made my stay very enjoyable. Things suggested to improve: one beach towel per guest is definitely not enough at a beach resort. Also, we need more space around the pool and more pool side seats. August 14, 2013
