The staff were extremely helpful and charming, whilst the food in all the restaurants was fantastic, with the Thai taking the gold star. Great beach and pools, especially the Adult Pool. Played the golf course and had one of my best rounds. Would be back again. March 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pure Luxury My family and I just spent the weekend at the new St. Regis. WOW. The room, the views, the pools, the service, the food--it could not have been better. It's a perfect hotel for families as well as singles or couples. There is a separate adult-only pool as well as THE BEST kids' play area. My kids were in heaven! The coolest part was that even though we live in Abu Dhabi (about 15 minutes away from the hotel!), we felt like we were millions of miles away. The scenery is pristine and serene. Total bliss. We look forward to our next stay at St. Regis Saadiyat! April 29, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful Location, average to poor service Without a doubt the location is amazing. Beautiful beach and golf course all very close. The staff was hit or miss. The hotel was busy, but they failed on a lot of things. St. Regis prides itself on the butler service. When I called they seemed aloof. One time the butler asked me who this was on the phone. Not what I expected. Room service missed as well. My wife can't handle spicy food and we ordered a pasta asking not spciy. The dish must of been the most spiciest dish I have ever ahd. All in all average! We needed some help on checking out, lots of bags with a baby. We called twice for some help and no one ever arrived, we gave up after 30 minutes. April 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed The first impressions were good, friendly staff, with a good outline of the facilities provided. The room was spacious but lacking in tea and cooffee facilities. Yes, there is a complimentary service available but it is so much easier to make your own when required. The beach area needs improvement - not up to the standard of good beach hotels in Dubai. We ate in the Sontaya restaurant ... the food was uninspiring. The Adult Pool facility was very good although the food menu was rather limited - a lighter 'snack' menu option would be good ... mezza perhaps? May 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Special Anniversary Celebration Great attention to detail from the moment we arrived. Friendly, helpful staff. Luxurious room, gorgeous bed and linen, loved the dual bathroom with walk-through shower! St Regis Butler liaised with restaurant staff so our meals at Sontaya and 55th&5th were also Anniversary themed. Wonderful food in both venues, and breakfast in the Ballroom was excellent. Great leisure facilities - family pool was lovely but we were pleasantly surprised to see the no children policy enforced in the adults-only area. Plenty of loungers and shaded areas by the pools. Rated 5 out of 5 by highly recommended to expierence the services and facilities of this hotel! Absolutely the most amazing hotel in Abu Dhabi, with a lovely beach and great swimmingpool facalities. The rooms are really spacious and overlooking the turquois beach. The F&B venues are all unique and amazing and the menus are really diverse. Best of all was the staff, who are so welcoming and kind. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, because of the beauty of the resort and the great service provided!! May 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Luxury relaxing beach resort St Regis Saadiyat island is an excellent place to wind down and enjoy a luxurious lazy break. Great pools, with separate facilities for kids and adults as well as a common area for all with nice beds and shaded "cabanas" which offer a nice private pool experience. Beach bar has the laid back feel of a coastal retreat and offers fantastic cocktails as well as great service and good food. Beach is pristine and is makes for miles of undisturbed walks as well as a natural reserve for turtles at night which is a fascinating thought. I really managed to shake off the stress of my daily job routine and completely relaxed while using the hotel facilities. Staff are amazingly young, motivated and energized and happy to assist with any request you may have. May 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr. Dean Williamson The St. Regis, Saadiyat Island, remains one of my favorite hotels in the world. Even though I live in Abu Dhabi, I consider it one of my most favorite get-aways. That is because of the exquisite care the staff offers to its guests. 55th and 5th is still be best restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Mario at the Irridium Spa is probably the best masseur going, and I've had massages all over the world. The property is gorgeous, the staff extraordinary and I'm proud to say I was one of the first customers at 55th and 5th when it opened in 2012. Can't wait for my next stay. April 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Shocking service We stayed at the St Regis for 2 days and it was one of the worsted stays I have ever had .  When we arrived we were put into a room the was right next to a room under construction with construction workers shouting and making huge noise . We called down to the front desk 3 times to let them know about this ,the last time the assistant front desk  manager told us we would have to wait 2 hours for them to move us .  The IPod docking station was also not working . We were never offered the signature unpacking by the butlers. We were then moved to a new room .  The butler service in this hotel is non existence on several occasions we call the butler service and they failed to answer the phone and when they did answer the phone the service was shocking . We call the butler service and asked them to come and fetch some laundry after 45mins and 2 more calls I had to take my laundry to the front desk my self , the assistant front office manager said my laundry would be back in the morning  I needed it back in the morning as it had my gym kit and I wanted to have a work out but the hotel only returned my laundry at 17:35 .  The facility's at the hotel are impressive but the service and attention to detail is lacking , there were several light bulbs out in the hotel which I pointed out to the staff . I did meet one of the senior managers and let him know my concerns but this seamed to have little effect our stay continued to be a disaster . We were offered a late checkout but we decided to check out early as we felt unwelcome , this also was a issue as we asked the front office to send some one to fetch our bags after waiting 10min with decided to go and check out once we had checked out we expected our bags to be at the front office but we had to wait a further 15 min for our bags and I was about to fetch them my self but the receptionist went and collected them  When we left I thought the Gm or some one would send us a email or give us a call to apologize but we still have not got any feedback from the hotel .  May 22, 2012

Excellent customer relations prior to our arrival, excellent staff service during our stay, most friendly atmosphere, great facilities for kids and adults, great restaurants, great food, hygiene is impeccable. we love the hotel and will certainly return and recommend it to all our friends and family. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good hotel but..... The hotel was good but there was a 2 hour delay in giving us our rooms as they were not ready. This is really inconvenient as we were only there for 2 nights so a lot of time was wasted. Also as a family with children we had 3 rooms booked and one of them was given in another wing of the hotel which is absurd considering we had requested to stay together. We stayed 2 nights and the food at 55 and 5th was exorbitant and certainly not worth it! The 2nd night we ate at Sontaya the Thai restaurant and the food was awful. Also if you don't get to the pool early in the morning you will be hard pressed to find sun loungers as they are all taken. Otherwise a good hotel for a short break. April 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent resort but Saadiyat Island is many years from maturity The St Regis Saadiyat Island is an excellent resort up to the St Regis standard in most regards but is located on the largely still desolate Saadiyat Island which will take some years to mature (it will eventually have museums, additional resorts and other attractions but these are a number of years away). Today there are limited other attractions on the island and either side of the resort are building sites which somewhat diminishes the atmosphere. It is about 20 minutes or so drive from Abu Dhabi. As a SPG platinum member we were upgraded to a St Regis suite which has a separate living room, one and a half bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the resort and out to sea. The suite was tastefully decorated and perfect in just about every regard. The main bathroom had a large stand alone bath tube and a large shower. Standard St Regis Remede amenities were provided. Free tea and coffee was available any time of day from the butler who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room also came with 2 free items of pressing. Breakfast was served in the main area and while the spread was comprehensive the quality was not exceptional. The resort has two main pools, including one which is adults only - a godsend given it seemed 80% of guests were families. The adult pool is fantastic with a view over the golf course and out to sea. It has the perfect balance of sun, shade and water features to pass away a day. Service by the pool is attentive although the dining menu is limited. Lifeguards are always on duty in all pools and at the beach. The beach is probably the best I have experienced in the Middle East with white sand and relatively calm turquoise water. It will really come into its own in a few years once the area is more developed. The service was generally very friendly and of a high standard. The one disappointment was the concierge team who seemed preoccupied with pushing the hotel car service (at 3x the cost of a regular taxi). When I asked if they could help me book tickets for the IPL cricket match that was on in town I was told 'the hotel doesn't sell tickets, you have to buy them online' and when I asked if they could arrange a taxi to pick me up in town I was initially just given the number for Abu Dhabi taxis and told to call them. In summary there is a lot to love about this resort and in future it may become a gem in the St Regis portfolio. However, for now it is held back by its 'empty' location and consequent lack of atmosphere. Still it makes an excellent choice if you are looking for a few days of sun and are happy to stay within the resort. May 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Abu Dhabi-St Regis A fantastic hotel This was our first visit to Abu Dhabi although we have visited Dubai three times and Oman twice. We thought we knew what it would be like in the area but the holiday exceeded our expectations. The St Regis is a superb hotel, with very kind, efficient and helpful staff. Our room was very good and the Butler service provided was outstanding.The restaurants were fantastic and the choice and quality of food were wonderful. Restaurant staff were outstanding in their attitude and the service was brilliant. All the staff were kind, helpful and efficient. It is a hotel that is first class in every sense. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and certainly found it to be the best hotel we have stayed in. We have travelled the world so can make this judgement. Rated 5 out of 5 by For work and play With my work and pleasure I have travelled all over the world and stayed in many great hotels. This St Regis is in the top 5 with the best in terms of food, room and service. I was most impressed with the level of service and attentiveness from the butler and hostess personnel. catering to all my request. I have traveled to Abu Dhabi and Dubai and not easily impressed, but this experience was one of a kind! Fantastic and I will be back. A beautiful beach that extends as far as you want to walk. Every member of staff was very welcoming and devoted to your complete satisfaction. All 3 restaurants were unique outstanding experiences. St Regis is a great hotel with excellent service for work and play. Would recommend the property to anyone travelling to Abu Dhabi. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. July 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Resort Hotel with some Peculiarities The resort does not give any occasion to criticize its facilities or its services. Nevertheless there are three items which may deserve some improvement: 1) Neither in his room nor in the lobby the guest finds any plan showing the situation of the hotel´s restaurants and of other facilities. The same applies for regional maps and information. 2) In and around the lobby there are several desks. As they are not labelled, at first glance the guest does not find his way to concierge and other services. 3) The menu cards of the restaurants are not displayed in front of the entrance doors. Thus the guest has only an idea of the restaurant´s genre, but not of its actual offerings. Though missing information can be obtained from helpful staff members, a proactive provision of information (printed or by TV/Website) would be welcome. February 18, 2013

Friendly and efficient hotel staff are added values. Personal greetings from the Hotel GM at the Lobby made it more special and appealing to all Guests! Rated 3 out of 5 by Communication Breakdown I intended to spend my first year anniversary at St. Regis Saadiyat in bliss however in vain. I loved the idea of having a butler service who can personally arrange all the necessities prior to check-in. Therefore, I had obviously arranged for the room to be decked up with rose petals. As it was a surprise for my wife I couldn't even pretend that something was off as the room wasn't decked up. I headed back to the reception lady who courteously apologized for the mishap and offer the evening dinner upon which I would give them the signal to deck up the room. However in between all this discussion, room service showed up while my wife was in the room asking whether it was suitable to deck up the room?! However, in the end it was no longer a surprise but none the less we had a great time at the hotel and enjoyed the dinner as well. July 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by My experience at St Regis This a fabulous resort we only stay one night for the Rolling Stones concert but I would certainly go back again for a longer stay.However we did have a problem with some of the staffs lack of the English ,after we checked into our room we ask three of the staff were we could get a light meal and a beer and they didn't know or could not understand us.when we returned from the concert at about midnight we went to the bar for a drink and snack our food took an hour to arrive part of it was wrong which took another 20 minutes which took around to about 1'30 am .we did find the drinks and food expensive however I will go back but not drink as much February 23, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed So here is the story of my stay: - arrived at 10PM and was given a room which was already occupied - we were then given another room which had luggage of somebody else (apparently they offloaded the wrong luggage) - The aircon was so noisy so that we preferred to sleep without it (got quite hot, though) - The shower drainage did not work and the room got flooded - The staff was very unfriendly at breakfast (breakfast closes at 11 and we arrived at 10.30 - is that a valid excuse NOT to give us fresh dishes/cutlery - really St Regis???) - the pool security guy really got me started when he reminded me several times that it is dangerous hanging my arms over the pool edge (what rule is that?) - the room key did not work - the checkout queue was really long (I had to wait 20 minutes) Needless to say we departed the next day and have no intentions to come back May 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by the best resorte in Abu Dhabi I have stayed in Excellent location with private beach. very clean beach and the staff were always smiling. the in dining room was very very tasty and delicious. the room was very clean and wide with perfect view to the beach. the only problem was some items were missing from the room like the 2 ropes and the tea making items. overall, I am very glad that i chose this hotel for my stay and i will visit again for longer stays. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel, needs a little more to reach St;.Regis excellence St.Regis Sadiyat is a great hotel, in a very nice location, with a wonderful unspoiled beach, this is definitely a plus if you love the sea (the pool is very good as well!!!). We did not get an upgrade because the hotel was full for the Emirates anniversary, but we were nevertheless happy with our room. The staff did a good job managing the 'crowd'... I have to praise their friendliness and courtesy; on the other hand they are not yet up to the St.Regis standard, e.g. the butler service is slower than it should be, the check-in process is a bit impersonal. We had dinner at 55th&5 which was excellent in all respect, real St.Regis; and at Turquoiz which was disappointing instead: the food was below average, and so was the service - worst, the loud background music managed to turn the most romantic spot of the resort into a disco; please realize what damage you are doing! Rated 5 out of 5 by Weekend Break We stayed at the St Regis on a weekend break from Dubai for the first time having stayed at other hotels in Abu Dhabi previously. I have to say having travelled all over the world to very good hotels the St Regis is certainly up there with the best in terms of food, room and service. However, the only thing that was disappointing was the internet. Having booked the surf and breakfast package we fully expected and needed to be able to use the internet, which unfortunately was virtually impossible. The Butler attempted several times to fix it but the access only lasted a short time. I suppose the infuriating thing was that we were told that they had 30% occupancy and they put us in a room as far away from the reception (and I assume the internet) as you could possibly get! That aside the stay was fantastic and would highly recommend this hotel but leave your laptop at home. July 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Room to improve Beautiful facility located on a private section of beach on Saadiyat island. The staff are new, and will improve with time. We checked in on a busy day, but still cannot excuse the reception desk telling us to "come back later, we are too busy now." Our room was comfortable, but the lights keept going on and off during the night. Manager asked why we didn't have the butler fix them, "What butler?" Never saw one. July 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Service, friendly staff, a perfect trip We enjoyed the stay for 1 week in this hotel, to relax and spend some nice golf rounds on the Saadiyat Golf course. From arrival to departure, the hole staff was in such a friendly way, that we feel really comfortable , at this week. The service and the quality was really amazing! Rated 5 out of 5 by MANHATTAN LOUNGE I have been at St. Regis Saadiyat Island few times already and I never knew about the Manhattan Lounge until another guests asked us to meet there. I wish we knew it since last year. The bartenders, Emmanuel and Renato were such amazing bartenders, we were introduced to a one of a kind drinks we never had before, the drinks were so delicious and we can tell how hard they work just for them to satisfy their customers. They were very proud to inform us that they have won the Bols competition last year and they are aiming to do it again this year. We were able to taste the drinks and we wish Emmanuel and Renato the best and the whole St. Regis Saadiyat Island Hotel for the upcoming competition again. Their professionalism and experience are beyond my expectation. The staff from Turquoise, beach, and pool area were all magnificent. Very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to staying at St. Regis Saadiyat Island again in the near future. May 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by not at all a st regis experience I arrived to the hotel at 6pm sharp. All 3 rooms that I booked WERE NOT READY. Had to wait till 7.15 to go to 2 rooms and 8.30 for the last room. The rooms did not have any shampoo and had to ask them to get. Never saw the butler nor did anyone upon checking in told me about the butler. I always stay at the st.regis NYC and this was NO st.regis im used too. July 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Holiday Perfection My wife and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the St Regis and were completely bowled over by the quality and presentation of what can only be described as a stunning hotel in an equally stunning location. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the friendly welcome and check in and the beautiful room (we were kindly upgraded to a seaview room the day after) and also the tremendous quality and themes of the bars and restaurants. We really could not find fault with anything. But a great hotel is all about the staff and I have to say Max that they are all now starting to gel as a team and really do have a "can do" attitude together with a smile. They all made our holiday special and if I may just say an extra thankyou to Emmanuel and Ruslan in the Manhattan lounge, Diyana and Candy in Olea and last but not least, Dami from the lifeguard team. It is wonderful for all occasions, Couples, with or without children. Each member will have a portion of fun and relaxation. In short, I will come again. January 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by my favorite hotel in Abu Dhabi We have spent an amazing weekend at the hotel! Loved the rooms and especially the bathrooms with two sinks and great rain shower. Associates were attentive and responded quick to requests. Front Office did exceptionally well, special thanks to Vartan, Assistant Front Office Manager, who looked after us. We will be back soon! Great location, fantastic staff, very nice room with a beutiful view and fantastic food. We enjoyed also the beach and a swim in the see. You are on a resort, but close to down town Abu Dhabi which is great. December 18, 2012
