Rated 3 out of 5 by dandelion Enjoy stuffs' hospitality
The stuffs are very kind and nice. We really enjoyed their hospitality and smile. What we didn't like was room shower. There were rust andmold. And if there are more choise of food, we could be much happier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LD65 This hotel has old fashioned rules for wifi
My stay in main building Sheraton 5* Sharm
el Sheikh, Egypt, all inclusive was ok, but
you have to pay for wifi. While most other
hotels all over the world have free wifi as
service. En that for a 5* price

Green tag forbade my use of most bars. No 24 hour free bar. No 24 hour free snacks. No entertainment.
Nice Hotel with good staff and food but failing to meet the entertainment needs of its clientelle.

Even in difficult times - revolution in Egypt and little tourists, hotel Sheraton Shatm maintained its tradition and provides very good quality of service.

I think the staff in the foodlounge were too fast taking away plates, utensiles, glasses and cups during meals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AshKash Great Location if you like Sea Side and sun
Great staff and Great Egyptian Hospitality. People like Mohammed, Islam, Mustafa and mini resort bus drive all ways put smile on your face and make your day comfortable.
Like I said great Location. Great views.
Even though I preferred Resort as we are family of 5 with three little kids and it suited our needs and requirements (it was like an apartment with two bedrooms and a living room) the condition was average and could have been made more safer and better. Sink was blocked which was sorted. Live electric lamp wire was exposed which I mentioned to the reception but then hide it behind the furniture so little ones could not get to it.
But we were expecting this sort of minor things as in Egypt they don't have the same safety and quality standards as we do in England.
The Sheraton Main hotel is on the beach and is definitely 5 star service and quality
With great Spa and fitness suit.
However the Resort is like a 3 star.
Even though we were staying at the resort we used hotel facilities. Which took time we had to catch this mini bus they had going around the resort as the size of the resort was humongous
The Nefertiti restaurant was a nightmare poor service, poor design and it wasn't as clean as the hotel building...
To be honest its not Sheraton's fault.. I personally think the holiday company should make it more clear about hotel and resort and the different between the two..
As this can be a main factor for some but it wasn't for us we had a lovely time at Sheraton and enjoyed everything Alhumdulila
ohhh the animation was boring, cheap and was always more interested in Russain .. But worst of all the songs and stuff they were doing was same as 2008 when I visited a hotel sol sharm at Sharm el sheik Very very disappointed with animation team..

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nikki22 Disappointed
Firstly I would like to say the hotel was amazing with its layout, style and cleanliness, it was the content however that let it down.
On arrival at the hotel we were dropped off at the 'resort' which is more of a shanty town than a hotel destination and so you can imagine our disappointment. It was not until an hour of queuing (due to endless russians pushing in the queue) that we found out we had been dropped at the wrong destination and so had to get an extra shuttle bus to the right part of the hotel.
Once we had checked in (at 8pm) we were told to leave all our suitcases and have dinner as our room was not ready!! We refused and after 20 minutes or so we were shown to our room. We however had to wait 10 minutes once in the room for our suitcases to be delivered as the hotel staff did not allow us to take them up ourselves.
The next disappointment was the 'all inclusive', which stopped at all bars, except one at 8pm. The one bar that did still give free drinks was only available on 8 or so cocktails. We were not allowed ice cream as it was for children only and so had to pay an additional cost for this. The al a carte restaurants also did not come under the 'all inclusive' as we had to pay for them, with a generous 15% off for being hotel guests!! The food at the buffet was average but not varied and there was not much choice and did not compete with other hotels we have stayed at in Egypt, though the freshly cooked food outside was good.
The rep we had was a friendly man how ever timing was an issue for him, and to top it off he told us our pickup for the airport was 4.20pm when in fact it was 3.15pm! If the bus driver had not phoned our room we would have missed our transfer to the airport!! As you can imagine the staff on the transfer were not happy with us as we got blamed for being late and the other guests at other hotels were then late being picked up which caused them all to panic.
The room was spacious with a lovely view of the pool and beach, however the mini bar was disappointing as we were charged for any drinks we had out of it where as at other hotels we have stayed at they have been included in the 'all inclusive' bracket.
As i said before the hotel location was amazing and staff on average were friendly and helpful, we were just expecting more from this hotel, as advertised on their website.
