Rated 2 out of 5 Over priced and they nickle and dime you $15 for WiFi for 20 min. $25 to work out $30 to park the car No coffee in room $18 drinks that should be less then $10 Slow restaurant service Average food at above average prices some days you can't get a drink at the pool after 3 and they also closed the lower bar - you have to walk to the lobby you have to sign a release every time you work out. The changing rooms are small and tight the lockers are very small - we ended up going back to our room to change. Most hotels you give them your name and you get seated - here they ask name and room number and then God knows what they do for 2 min while you watch them type in the computer and wait for a receipt to print out. - causes delays ins eating. The rooms are nice The hotel staff is well trained and very considerate but service is generally slow. Some equipment in the fitness area does not work, but they don't even bother to tag it out of service. They sell you a half can of coke for $8 - I don't really care about the price but why double the cost and give you a half can size? They showed up for turn down service at 9:30 at night - this should happen between 6 and 8. They force you to enter a nick name to submit a comment??? March 25, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by So-so experience Came here recently on a short vacation with my wife. Overall our experience was OK, but not really what we expected from a St Regis property. Many of the staff were very outgoing, friendly, and professional - what we expected. A decent portion, however, were just lacking. Here and there you'd get a staff member who'd talk to you like they were uninterested, or like you were bothering them by asking a simple question, like how to get to the fitness center. There was also a lack of attention to detail. For example, the cushions on our patio chairs were old, dirty, and worn out. One of them had a large hole in the bottom and was constantly leaking something like sawdust all over the place. This just isn't what you expect from a hotel like the St Regis - you expect it to be perfect. The property itself was nice, but all in all the hotel wasn't what we were looking for. After spending 3 days there, my wife and I realized that their main focus is being a golf club, a hangout for local residents, and an event facility for corporations looking to impress their clients; they don't seem to put much effort in on the hotel side. Since we don't golf, live there, or need to impress clients, we probably won't be going back. June 21, 2013
